Q: Was there any drilling to install, and will this fit my 92 YJ manual steering?

I didn't have to do any cutting to install, it was pretty straightforward and took me about 15 minutes to install it. I installed it on my 91 YJ that is running 37 inch tires as of right now.

Q: What does this solve? I am changing my tie rod ends, sway bar and end links, add a spring in the front and a tuff stuff solver. Is this a necessary up

Our 1990 YJ tended to wander back and forth, even after front end repairs. This brace stops frame flex near the steering box and made our YJ steer much better. As a side note our YJ has a 4" suspension lift. I also removed the front sway bar as I don't believe it's needed with front leaf springs. I'm not telling anyone to remove this bar, just saying what I did!
