I always love the products you have

I just saw this movie on HBO after missing it in the theaters. What a pleasant surprise. The ones responsible for the trailers for this film did it a great disservice. They made it seem as though it was like an oversize Kong (though the one in Skull Island was surely as large and as tall) who somehow got loose in a major American city wreaking total havoc while a hapless Dwayne Johnson tried to stop him. This is partially true though there is so very much more. While there is plenty of drama of the type one would expect in a film such as this, there is a good deal of semi-comedy and a fair share of laughs that balance the weightiness (pardon the pun) of the movie. What we have is a story where genetic "editing" has been weaponized in secret but got out of control allowing certain creatures to run amok. Not only do we have a supersized ape, but we also have a supersized wolf, and even a super-supersized rat (who looks more like a hairy prehistoric crocodile) to contend with. How they are stopped...(NO Spoilers here) takes up most of the story and the fun is in the adventure.The special effects are eyepopping and A+ with echoes of San Andreas and Batman V Superman (all the compliments of WB and New Line). The villains get their just desserts in the most appropriate, satisfying, and delicious way. So go out, buy your own copy (available in different formats) and enjoy it more than once.. That's what I intend to do straight away. And be sure to say hello to George.

What can you say about Dwayne Johnson?He has so much fun making movies.And fun is what this is all about.Yes the plot is almost non existent.But with the Rock at the helm,good jokes and CGI coming at you in 3D.its alot of fun.

A month later and it still hasn't reached the USPS. I wish there was a way to find out where it is shipping from before you purchase the product. Amazon has updated the estimated date twice. Contacted seller & they sent me tracking info for the USPS, and it hasn't even been accepted by the USPS yet. It's now past time I needed it for a gift. Another issue...after I purchase it and was trying to find out where it was I saw a big notice " Playback Region B/2 :This will not play on most Blu-ray players sold in North America, Central America, South America, Japan, North Korea, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Southeast Asia. Learn more about Blu-ray region specifications here" THIS WAS NOT THERE WHEN I PURCHASED IT!!!!!! Now...sit & wait who knows how many more weeks/months to get the product, then try to return it, if I can even return it. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Please note the ST-MEDIA GROUP is not providing the slip cover to this release as shown. The picture needs to be corrected. What was sent does not show 3d disc Blu-Ray disc and Digital CopyAmazon sent me two copies and neither of them had slip covers as shown in Amazon posting.I will be returning the two copies if nothing can be resolved.I'm still waiting to hear from ST-Media Group regarding the issue and if slip cover be provided as pictured.I will revise my review if a positive outcome comes about.Revised, ST Media group does not have the slip cover for this release. Collectors beware!
