Fantastic Bible!
This Bible is fantastic for the price point.Genuinely cannot complain about anything!I bought the true tone version of this exact one, the wide margin, false leather version, and the paper quality was lower, and it had much more ghosting. This version has higher quality paper, real leather, and it’s a pleasure to read!Would recommend to anyone!

A nice wide margin for a great price
This is a nice wide margin bible. The cover is a very nice premium leather. It's a rather large bible which is expected given that it is a large print and a wide margin. The pages are nice and thick compared to crossways other offerings to allow for notes and writing in it. It's great for a preaching/teaching bible. I got this because I wanted a wide margin ESV to take notes in and I opted for the leather cover and I'm glad I did. The bible lays nice and flat no matter where you are reading. I do have a few nitpicks but I don't think they are enough to bring the score down. These are more personal. The first one is that I would rather have a single column layout but I realize that would make an already heavy and large bible even bigger. The inside margin is pretty thin and not really ideal for writing in. This issue is compounded by the double column layout. Not a deal breaker. It's very much workable especially if you keep a notebook with it. Realistically if you want more writing room then get a journaling edition. My other nitpick is the sad ribbon. Only a single thin ribbon. It's the same ribbon they use in all of their offerings (identical to the ribbon in my compact). Cheaping out on the ribbon and only putting one is pretty bad. I understand cutting corners to keep cost down but the ribbons are the cheapest part of these bibles. I have a leather bound handy sized LSB that is about the same size that comes with two thick ribbons (funny enough it also has the same margin width) but that bible is much more expensive. Replacing and adding ribbons is a very easy fix but still a bit of a gripe. I don't want to get too negative here. This is an amazing bible that should last a life time and can be made even better if you are down to perform a little surgery for better ribbons.

A pleasure to read
I wanted a good, readable, leather-bound Bible for Christmas, and received this one from my daughter. It has been a delight to read so far, and I recommend it to anyone looking for an easy-to-read English Standard Version.I sat down yesterday intending to read a chapter of Romans, and before I knew it, I had read chapters 1–8. This morning I followed up with 9–16. I can assure you that is not typical of my Bible reading. Perhaps it’s just the novelty of a new Bible. Perhaps I’m just more motivated than normal. But I suspect the layout of the text and the generous white space are helping make the reading experience more enjoyable. Whatever the reason, I hope it continues.Anyway, I highly recommend this Bible, especially if you’re planning to embark on one of those read-the-Bible-in-a-year plans that have you reading multiple chapters per day.

Great bible!!
Large print (11 pt font) and nice margins all around. No cross references but you have room to write in your own!

Beautiful
Beautiful bible. The print is perfect. Only flaw is (and this is why 4 stars) it is NOT red letter and there isn't a concordance in this one. I highly recommend this bible though.

I really enjoy this edition
In this price range, this is a great esv edition. This isn’t the best wide margin for extensive notes, but if you take minimal notes or like to mark up your Bible, this is a great option. It feels like a beefy thin line. I’m not typically a fan of thin lines due to the thin pages, but these pages feel good. I didn’t realize that it was a large print Bible when I ordered and thought the font was almost comically large compared to my others, but I do enjoy reading out of it now. With no spine hubs you can completely fold back the side you aren’t reading from and it feels really comfortable to hold if you don’t lay it on a table. This is a great option for those that like to “tear up” their Bible and really live with it for a year or two. I’ll probably purchase more every few years as long as it stays in print.

Nice Bible, but wide margin it is not.
I’m torn over this less than great rating.Pros: The ESV is certainly an accurate, readable, and engaging translation. The leather and paper quality are very good, and text, font size and readability are excellent.Con: Only one con, and it is simply due to the fact that this version has what can only be called a standard/conventional margin. I purchased this primarily to make annotations in the margin, but there really isn’t much available space, certainly no more than any of the other ESV Bibles I have seen.If margin width is important to you, then I’d suggest you look elsewhere. If readability of the text is your primary concern then this is an excellent choice.
