Anti Gray Hair 7050 Restore Natural Hair Color 60 Capsules Per Bottle (3 Bottles)

Here is a list of and explanation for catalase pills and other hair-improvement products. I am doubtful that grey hair can consistently be reversed but suspect it can be prevented. Even before taking hair-support pills, my hair kept its color ten years longer than my brothers, presumably because I took a lot of vitamin-type pills. But I have also discovered it can be harmful to take too may pills. Therefore I am only taking the most important pills on a daily basis, and as an experiment, focusing on hair support. The effectiveness of this program for supporting hair color is entirely hypothetical. However the only "side effects" are general health improvement. 2 daily (with Amazon prices, Dec 2013): MaritzMayer Anti-Gray Hair 7050 60x2 $11.79 or Top of the World No More Grey 60 $11.04 or Absonutrix Anti-Gray Hair Pure 60x2 $28.99 These all supply 2,500 mg catalase per pill and are all possibly from the same factory. The idea behind catalase is to neutralize the bleaching effect of certain oxidants. It is nice that these pills also contain a small amount of numerous healthy ingredients including biotin and saw palmetto. Saw palmetto is like an afterburner for unmetabolized testosterone, thereby anti-prostate-enlargement and anti-male-pattern-baldness, while at the same time helping to make women more feminine. This is quite different from drugs, which often somewhat turn men into women and women into men. Saw Palmetto is most popular as a men's prostate supplement, but is also an ingredient in women's supplements. Similar in effects to Black Cohosh, Saw Palmetto was discovered by Native Americans to make men stronger and also to support breast development in young women. In addition to preventing baldness, saw palmetto helps reduce excess facial hair in women. All for the same reason that saw palmetto does not suppress testosterone but helps to metabolize (digest) testosterone. Similarly, there are two ways to reduce car exhaust fumes. One way is to cripple or power-down the engine. This is similar to a drug-based response to a hormone imbalance. A different approach is to add an afterburner or a turbocharger. This reduces emissions by burning the fuel more completely, and thereby actually increasing the power of the fuel while reducing its side effects. This is similar to the effect of Saw Palmetto on hormones. Of course, greyness is not baldness. In my opinion, catalase is the only potentially anti-greying ingredient in the above products. 1 dropperful 2-4 times daily: Ho Shou Wu liquid extract by Herb Pharm or any reputable brand. Shou-Wu aka Fo-Ti is a famous Chinese folk remedy which is taken internally for supporting hair color. The "anti-grey" pills above contain only a token amount of powdered Shou-Wu/Fo-Ti, and any pill form has little if any benefit. When you take a liquid form, you can instantly feel your skin tingle. A liquid Shou-Wu sold in Chinese pharmacies is bulky and sugary. The Herb Pharm extract is much more convenient. Keep several bottles in the bathroom, kitchen, work place, etc. Just add a dropperful to a dash of water. Or, while holding a sip of water in the mouth, squirt directly in the mouth. (I am also applying to the scalp, although no literature suggests to do so.) 1 daily: alternate between Enzymatic Therapy Metabolic Advantage (formerly Thyroid L-Tyrosine) and Now Thyroid Support. These are not intentionally hair support formulas. However, they both supply tyrosine which is a pigmentation molecule. Also, maintaining hair color logically requires a deep support of the glandular system. 1 every 1-3 days: Now Foods Adam for men or Eve for women, in softgel capsules. This is a comprehensive multivitamin that includes a small dose of many antioxidants as well as hormone-related support. 1 every 2-3 days (or daily if your hair is thin): Melancor or 500mg L-Cysteine capsules. (Use only capsules, not hard tablets.) L-cysteine is not included in the above "anti-grey" formulas but in my experience offers the most consistent improvement in hair health. The makers of Melancor imply that L-cysteine slightly supports hair color. However what is much more certain is that if you take L-cysteine daily for a few months, you will probably feel and added thickness whenever you run your fingers through your hair. If so, then L-cysteine obviously is something that your entire body is otherwise not getting enough of. 1 every 2-3 days (or 1-2 daily if over 75): 7-Keto 25mg. 7-Keto is a safe and gentle form of DHEA, the master pro-hormone molecule. 7-Keto is not a hormone but supplies your body with something analogous to a hardware store stocked with all the nuts and bolts of hormone construction. Many people take high doses of 7-Keto daily. I do not believe in high doses, but that proves how safe it is to take 25mg every two days. I alternate every other day between 1 pill of 25mg 7-Keto and 1 pill of Enzymatic Therapy Adrenal Stress End. The adrenal glands are primarily responsible for hormone production. 1-5 times daily: thoroughly massage your head and neck! Never directly rub the eyes. However, gently move your fingers around the eyes and over every part of the head and neck. Also cup the palms over the eyes while simultaneously massaging the temples and forehead with the fingers and thumbs, and also pressing the palm into various points on the brow. Move the hands all around the head and neck 30 times in this manner. Whenever it feels especially pleasant to press a certain spot, pause a few moments in that position. Do this after going to bed, before getting out of bed, and whenever waiting for something or whenever your eyes are tired. You will immediately feel the difference. Your body is like a skyscraper with millions of tiny rooms, all depending on blood flow to remove the trash and supply food, air and water. Massage therapy generally focuses on the back, legs and abdomen. However, the head is more important and only you can massage your head properly. 1 daily every evening: before a head massage, apply a bit of Mamey Sapote Oil to the scalp with the fingertips. Mamey is a Central American oil which is healthy for skin and also reputed to keep hair dark, as reported in the television series, "Under the Sun." Refrigerate in hot weather or for long term storage. I suggest evening use because freshly-applied oil can magnify sunlight. 1 every 2-3 days: with your head massage, apply a dropperful of liquid nettle extract to the scalp. Nettles make a potent hair tonic. Optionally, you can also swallow a dropperful with a dash of water. Nettles contain similar chemicals as a bee sting which is used to treat arthritis. Nettles also contain organic silica which supports calcium absorption and urinary function in both men and women, and prevents kidney stones. 1 daily for men: Himalayan Herbals Prostacare. This is a gentle, unique and clinically-tested Asian prostate supplement that also contains ingredients that gently support healthy testosterone levels. I mention Prostacare because pure testosterone is even recommended by so-called holistic experts such as Dr. Oz for older men. Testosterone is important for men's health, but taking pure testosterone has serious side effects including prostate cancer and hair loss. This is incredibly stupid because there are so many natural supplements, such as Prostacare, that can support testosterone activity without side effects. 7-Keto, mentioned above, does not directly support testosterone or estrogen creation but does directly support every other hormone. Therefore 7-Keto also supports testosterone for men or estrogen for women--in the same way that a janitor maintaining a 100 room building is thoroughly supported if someone helps out with 98 of the rooms. If you combine 7-Keto + Prostacare then you have an extremely safe and effective testosterone support. (If 7-keto + Prostacare is not sufficient, there are numerous herbal products that focus on testosterone support. Often these cause digestive problems--if so, use liquid extracts and apply to the skin (transdermally). Apply directly or mix with moisturizer cream. Also perhaps consider intermittent doses of sublingual IGG and sublingual HGH. Sublinguals can also be applied transdermally. As a last resort: 5mg transdermally-applied sublingual DHEA. DHEA will directly support testosterone, and has side effects, but not nearly so bad as pure testosterone. For more gradual absorption, apply to the lower back, or rotate between several locations. For women, transdermal pregnenolone and phytoestrogens are equivalents of DHEA. Again, it is best to emphasize more gentle products. For women these include 7-Keto, DIM, evening primrose oil, transdermally applied IGG and HGH. These are relatively safe and gentle products which can either eliminate or greatly reduce any need for dangerous hormone supplementation. Even so however, it might be best to line them up in a row, and each day use only one or two. Also of course, consult with a doctor and have hormone levels tested regularly.)

I've been consistently using this product for around 5-6 months and have determined it does not work. I was a bit doubtful from the start on its ability to reverse the hairs that had already turned grey but I was hoping at least it would prevent new greys from coming in. Unfortunately my hair keeps getting new greys hairs and I've gone from maybe 10-15% grey before starting this product to about 25-30%. So not only does it not reverse anything but it doesn't prevent anything either. I was also surprised this formula doesn't include any copper (which I've been taking separately but probably not enough).

This product is amazing! The key to it's success is patience and consistency. Total gray hair does not happen over night, therefore, changing back to its natural color doesn't either, unless of course, you use other hair coloring methods. it takes time and patience. I've been using this natural herb for 3-4 months consistently and am seeing results. I just recently visited with a family member I haven't seen since Dec. and she said, "your hair looks nice, are you putting something in it? It doesn't look real gray like it did." That's when I REALLY knew it was working, when someone else noticed besides myself. When I told her what I was using, she just looked at me like she couldn't believe there is a product out there that can do that. This product is a combination of natural herbs, so it will be a gradual change. Most people are impatient and would like to see a change over night, (including myself), but I prefer the natural route. Not only is my natural hair color returning, but also the shine, bounce and texture. I try to reorder before I run out so I don't miss a dose!

I really wanted to give this a try for at least 6 months, but sadly it’s no longer available. It seemed to be working for hair growth. The top of my head seemed like it was thinning but after taking this, it looks more full. I’m not sure if it was fully due to this because I do take other supplements and I am using something on my hair in place of hair color because hair color seems to cause hair loss. I wanted to see if it would help with reversing grey hair. It does not upset my stomach. It is a little big but I have no problems with swallowing large supplement so far. Overall I liked this product. I cannot give it 5 stars because I didn’t have a chance to see if it works for reversing grey hair like it claims. I know it takes time to see changes.

I gather that I'm relatively young compared to many of the reviewers here---under 40---and I still do have most of my dark hair but when the sprigs of gray, white, and silver I saw popping up started becoming bothersome I decided to give this product a try, (beats plucking the darn things I guess), and I have been taking the pills for I think 7-9 months now and I'll just say it seems to be working so far. My hair used to be a dull dark brown/black and now it seems to be turning a rich glossy raven-black; my eyes also have darkened, they used to be dark amber and now they're a darker brown, and my beige complexion also seems a little darker as well, now a shade of orange-brown, might be because this contains something that increases the production of melanin which tends to wane over the years, and though the most of the grays are still remaining they seem to be slowly but surly getting less conspicuous. Not sure if this will have the same effect on others or not but if you prefer your hair, eyes, and skin lighter and this is worrisome to you then this product is probably not for you; but if that worry is secondary to any grays you too might be noticing then give it a shot and see what happens. Some of these other reviews reflect frustration and impatience but I'll just recommend to give this a try at least; maybe how well it works for a person depends on different factors such as age, lifestyle, genetics, and how patient you are. Might work for some people, I guess, but not necessarily for others.
