Bring your patience…
This is my 3rd Pantasy set and my least favorite. The design and facade were great but it was a grind to get through. The part quality is excellent, no missing pieces, instructions were good, but I sometimes felt some of the sub-assemblies were over complicated and very fragile. I ended up not making a couple of the motorcycles as I didn’t have patience and they are completely useless for the minifigs. I’m really grateful for companies like this, they are going to get better, they are going to continue to innovate and grow and I’m excited about that…but this was a meh for me, but I wouldn’t NOT recommend it because I know folks who really enjoyed it and honestly the finished product looks great.

Great buy for Lego city layout
Look great would be even better if there was lightning kit included like Funwhole. But still a good build with some head scratching. Work great with a Lego city Layout.

great brand, design blends themes well, city streets, minifigs not my fav, fragile points
LIKES 1) The brand. Pantasy is and has been in my top 3 alternatives to L brand due to a consistency in part quality and highly creative designs. 2) Speaking of design. The blend of art-deco and pre-war came out very well. For whatever assembly quirks involved here the display impact of the end result cant be denied. 3) Modular compatibility. Perhaps not important for the non-collector but I'm a city streets nut, and in fact I have other Pantasy buildings, so the ability to position them cohesively together is a big win for me. DISLIKES 1) The minifigs, uhh, I mean they're just not for me I didn't even include them in the build. But I can forgive this because L-brand aggressively defends it's minifig proportions through trademark law so legit brands don't really have a chance to duplicate what makes sense for the scale. 2) Some load bearing fragility. Another factor that I can usually forgive because sometimes achieving design sacrifices stability, and for the most part that was the case here although I did look at a few spots and thought to myself uhhh well if only such and such was done this would be different. Point is expect some breakage during assembly.

Motorcycle shop
Overall building was pretty good. Minifigures are creepy looking. Motorcycles are too fragile to play with.

Fun build with amazing details
Retro Motorcycle Diner & Bar Building Set Highlight: I really enjoyed building this kit. I love the retro style, but what's really amazing is the attention to detail. On every level, there's just a bunch of detailed features. Helmet display, magazine rack, pool table, bar, sofa chairs, jukebox, etc. I think the kit is as much about exploration as anything else... what's the next feature or item? Another highlight of this kit is the sheer number of custom screen-printed parts. If I counted correct, there are 40! There are no stickers. There are 3 places where the screen print spans parts (something I hate with stickers!!). To ensure that these are printed correctly, the parts are mounted on a white baseplate before printing (and shipped still on that baseplate) - nicely done! There are 4 different levels (plus the final clock/roof). Each level has a different theme. The levels are stacked, and designed to be easily separated. A couple of the mid levels are also designed so that the back wall can fold out. Of course all of the parts are LEGO compatible. Except the figures. The figures are a different scale, and distinctly different design aesthetic than LEGO minifigures. 5 star – giftable 4 star – instructions 4 star – parts and fitment 5 star** – stickers 5 star – finished build Very giftable. It's a cute set, with color images on the box. It's packed well. Instructions are very good. There are 2 separate books (1 & 2). I did have a little trouble with some of the colors, but I could still make things out. The books were slightly folded/mangled in the box, but not too bad. Quality parts, no issues with missing or malformed parts. Knocking off a bit here because nowhere is a part count! And no, I didn't count them. It's not on the box, or on the instructions, or on the Amazon page. All I can say is that there are a lot of parts! Many of the parts are of the small variety. Again, there are no stickers. The 5-star is for the excellent printed parts. The finished build is fun and whimsical. Overall this is a great kit. Especially given the custom printed parts, it feels like a good value. (I usually compute a price-per-part, but can't do that here because no part count is supplied.)

Another great building set from Pantasy. Lots of detail. Fun to build. I really like that the display signs are on BOTH sides so you can see the name of the building, etc. on either side. Great idea. This is my 5th or 6th Pantasy project. Each one better than the last. Would highly recommend.

Before starting to build this set, I wanted to hate it, thinking how can it be better than Lego? I didn’t hate it. The good: incredible little details everywhere; some unique pieces I’ve not seen on Lego sets; not a single sticker to deal with - everything was printed on the bricks. The bad: you don’t always get that satisfying click in connecting some pieces: the fit of the pieces is not quite up to the standard - still very good though. There were a few pieces that were very finicky to put together and/or did not seem as solid as they could have been. You decide: the figures are totally different than Lego figures. They have much larger heads and are designed with two bottoms: they either sit or stand. They need to have their bottoms changed to move from one position to the other. There are hinged walls to allow you look inside the rooms. Overall, I really liked this set. Good thing because next up is the craft brewery.
