Work great in my bugera v22. Noise is gone. Just what I needed. Easy to install once I pulled the board out of the amp.

I purchased these to try in my Mesa Boogie Mini Rectifier as my old tubes were sound kind of worn and tired. Under gain (heavy gain), these JJ EL84's sounded very nice with a classic British crunch and exhibiting a slight push to the upper mids in frequency. With heavy palm-muted chording or single-note soloing they sounded great either way for hard rock and metal. Think Metallica guitar tone on the Kill 'Em All album and you're pretty close. It's a dry, crunchy gain structure. Value-wise they're hard to beat with an easily accessible price. On the clean channel they were very bright and chimey, very crisp. No complaints here for doing lighter rock or cleans. I'm sure they'd be great for jazz or country or any other genre needing crisp, chimey cleans. Lastly hats off to Tube Depot who fulfilled the order. They shipped almost immediately and in a nice solid box with clear "glass/fragile" stickers and plenty of padding inside.

They brought my tired Blues Jr Tweed Deluxe back to life. They are definitely warm. I play live twice a month now and have a small home studio. These tubes were a perfect replacement. And a faction of the price of Fender OEM.

The amp was barely okay and I thought it was the tubes and that's the first thing I did is swap out for these JJs and I'm so glad I did and all of a sudden the amp has volume again. They sound spectacular.

Badly packaged but arrived safely. Works as expected. A solid replacement. Brought my amp back to perfect working order.
