I'm picky about my sheets so was hesitant to buy online. These are the real deal, soft cotton that will get softer with each wash, substantially thick enough not to worry about tearing and holes, cool and comfortable in hot summer nights. I liked them so much I showed them to my mother who is even pickier and she ordered a set. I have an 11 inch mattress and it fit easily and could accommodate an additional couple of inches. My only complaint is the top sheet isn't really wide enough to tuck in but it's been years since I got a sheet set that could be tucked in on the sides. Maybe it's because mattresses are just thicker these days. I will order another set.

I've reached that point in time when, no matter how you try to convince yourself your sheets have a few more washes before they disintegrate, you realize you've already lost that battle. So that means I needed to buy sheets. This set came up in my search and noticed they were more than reasonable in cost for Organic Cotton. My concerns were then turned to how do they survive; like by using cheap labor? Or other unethical practices? I was relieved when I read through the product info and photos that Lane Linen noted that this is ethically made with Fair Trade Practices. This brand even provides a reusable bag that holds the sheets instead of plastic wrapping. With the facts in hand, I took the chance and purchased the Queen set in white.I confess that I expected cheap sheets that would last a few washes then become so thin they wouldn't beworth keeping (ending up on my closet shelf), but was willing to take the chance for the price. I received the sheets on Christmas Eve, as I needed my sheets for the Guest Room in my house. Since I threw the bad sheets away, I only had my set of sheets. I figured I would use my washed sheets and put the Lane Linen sheets on my bed just in case they weren't great.I ended up really pleasantly surprised along with being extremely impressed. The quality is there. I know most people will complain that they aren't heavy enough. Well, to me, living in Florida, well these are downright perfect for this weather zone. And yes, they may not be a 1000 count sheets, but after weekly washing, the sheets have gotten softer and softer, and have yet to get thinner. The lint tray in the dryer doesn't fill up with tons of cotton which means to me this product's sheets are well made by the means of a great weaving of those sheets.I did see some people have written reviews saying they have a 15" mattress and the fitted bottom sheet doesn't fit. I guess I'm the lucky one. My 15" memory foam Queen mattress (with no pillow top) has no issue as the sheet fits perfectly. Out of the dryer, it is tight, however, after one night, I noticed that the fitted sheet relaxed and went back to its normal size.My Review:PROs: Inexpensive, Organic cotton, no chemicals touch the sheets hence never put you at danger, ethically sourced by an environmentally committed company, Queen sized pillowcases included (not standard size).CONs: A few dollars more for pigment dyed sheets, the sheets do wrinkle so they may not be for everyone, the sheets aren't extremely soft when you first get them. But they aren't scratchy. They are like brand new sheets that weren't soaked in chemicals to soften them. I have found that as I wash them weekly, they have gotten softer and softer.Overall: I personally love the sheet set and highly recommend. I did iron the very top part of the sheet along with the pillowcases the first time I washed them. Since I have noticed that the sheets get less wrinkles after each washing, they go from the dryer to the bed. I think I'll be buying more in the very near future especially since I love sleeping in these sheets. Try them yourself. I think you'll be pleased with the quality.

These Lane Linen organic cotton sheets are really soft and breathable — perfect for year-round comfort. The haze grey color is calm and modern, and it holds up well after washing with minimal fading. I especially like the fully elasticized fitted sheet with reinforced seams — it stays in place nicely on the mattress. The fabric feels smooth and cozy, and there’s very little pilling so far. I gave it 4 stars only because the top sheet is slightly shorter than expected, but overall, it’s a great quality set for the price. Would definitely buy again!

I brought the sheets in February and I have to say I was hesitant about them. I must say I have really loved these sheets. I put my old sheets on for a week and then I go back to these sheets. I wish the top sheets were slightly wider. I would definitely reorder because these sheets are cool, soft to sleep with. In fact we sleep better with these sheets. Wash and dry well. If I leave in dryer and wrinkle I don’t worry because once they are on bed you can’t tell they are wrinkled.

I looked up a lot of measurements, read a lot of reviews and watched my share of videos before choosing these sheets for our new TwinXL mattresses. What finally tipped me to the Lane Linen was a side-by-side comparison video. Well, the finishing details on these sheets are all anyone could ask for. It is so obvious that people working on these sheets take pride in what they are doing. Also I like to make my bed with the top sheet all the way to the top of the bed and folded over the blanket, with enough left at the foot to stay tucked in. The length of these is all I hoped for. I did give the edges a quick ironing after the first wash because I have found with cotton that doing so the first wash or two helps in the long run. They didn't need much, for sure. When I put the fitted sheet on the mattress, the top of it fit perfectly and there was extra room underneath...they weren't loose and floppy and were also not stretched tight to fit. They were perfect. Last night I slept in them for the first time. My best description is that they feel like a soft, favorite garment right from the start. These are not slippery sheets, but they are not coarse in the least. If you are looking for a really heavy sheet you might not be totally happy, but I sure am.

I am super picky when it comes to sheets. These actually stay on the mattress, they are 100% cotton. They are soft like true cotton, but not silky feeling like Egyptian cotton. Don’t be alarmed, they are on the thinner side so if you live in a warm climate these are perfect so you don’t get hot while sleeping. This is what gives them the breathability!I just ordered my second set because the first set I ordered over a year ago is still holding up far better than compared to higher end sheets. If you like cotton, sheets that stay put on the mattress, these are the sheets you need!!!!

I received these sheets today and was so looking forward to the 100% cotton. I washed them twice and used fabric softener, I am very disappointed that they remain so scratchy unlike any I’ve ever seen . The pros ate the fit my mattress which is not a pillow top or an extreme deep so I’m very happy … could be a few inches longer but can’t have it all especially at this price point . I’m hoping they get softer. Quality seems good
