NuGo Fiber d'Lish Bars - Orange Cranberry - 1.6 oz - 16 ct

I love the peanut butter Gnu bars and thought these would be a hit, but the flavoring just didn't come out well. The orange smell is so strong that I kept these in a drawer of their own and every time I opened it the smell permeated the whole kitchen. I like oranges as much as the next Californian, and I can nibble one of these bad boys down if you give me enough time, but I won't be buying them again.

I don't understand the pricing on these at all. If you look carefully you can find them for just over $1/bar which is reasonable, but more commonly it's $1.50-$2.00. It's just not worth it at that price.

I am completely changing my review of these fiber bars not because I dislike these bars... I LOVE THEM. HOWEVER about two months ago, I ordered these from THE NATURAL HEALTH SHOPPE through Amazon... I just noticed that the box I just opened expired on November 16th, 2009!!! The order was filled in May of this year. I will never order these again from the NATURAL HEALTH SHOPPE. CHECK THE EXPIRATION DATE AS SOON AS YOUR BOX ARRIVES... send it back if it's even a day beyond the expiration date! This is ridiculous!!

these were ok. I wouldnt' buy them again. Edible but not delicious. They are pretty filling though. My kid and husband didn't like them either.

I think fiber love bars are fantastic. They have a lot of fiber and taste pretty nice... but I love them because they have lots of healthy ingredients and aren't smothered in sugar. The orange cranberry flavor was not my favorite... it was almost bitter. But it wasn't bad, I still ate them all!

As for as healthy bars go, this one is not too bad. Decent with coffee or tea. Add a banana for a complete breakfast!

I have tried a lot of fiber bars and most of them are dry and taste like cardboard. The Gnu Orange Cranberry bar is like an explosion of flavor in your mouth! They are moist and I love, love love the smell of oranges when you unwrap these bars. They are the best I have eaten and I have tried a lot of them. I have diverticulosis and must eat a minimum of 25 grams of fiber a day. One bar provides 48% of my daily requirement and they actually taste great. I highly recommend them.

I've been enjoying the Gnu bars for some time now and I absolutely adore them. I love to have one as an afternoon snack for a quick "pick up". The smell alone is very enticing and then when you taste it - it is like a cranberry/orange explosion in your mouth! ABSOLUTELY THE BEST FLAVOR AND NUTRITION FOR THE FIBER.I'm a life-time customer!!!
