Terrible Confusing story.
The story in this is just bonkers and it makes it really hard to follow. There are so many characters in it that end up playing no actual part in the story. They could simply be removed and the story would still be the same. The first few chapters may as well not have existed. The story itself in essence doesn’t make a lot of sense either and the writing of the big finally just ends up being confusing and utterly pointless. Almost like 5 people wrote 5 different story’s and then where told to link them together. There are so many ideas in here that you’d think they’d all lead to something else, sub plots, side story’s…… but nothing.Quite simply not much fun.

“Things will never be the same again. Maybe.”
“Infinity Wars” collects the main six-issue series, plus Infinity Wars Prime #1, Fallen Guardian #1 and Infinity #1, with a bit of Thanos Legacy #1.Well, I liked it.The Avengers are in it, as are the Guardians of the Galaxy, Adam Warlock and Loki (who considers himself an honorary founding Avenger nowadays, if you are keeping up), but none of the other Cosmic guys that I noticed. We have a bit of a multiversal crossover of sorts – see Infinity Warps for a bit of a spin-off – and a couple of dead people get left behind here when it is all over; nobody big, but definitely missed from Guardians’ continuity. The artwork, mostly by Mike Deodato Jr., is superb and very epic, and matches the mood of the story.I was reminded of some of the previous cosmic epics, particularly the Annihilation stories and the earlier incarnations of the Guardians, though this is more inward facing story than the grand space operas of that period. It is just a readable and entertaining epic story, in the great tradition of epic Marvel cosmic stories that began with Jim Starlin, and continues with many of his ideas as the bedrock upon which the better epic cosmic stories are built.

Confusing, irreverant cosmic shenanigans
There are laughs to be had here both from crafted jokes and well observed "mash-ups" of popular Marvel characters. Think Infinity Stones in multiverse scenarios and you are there. Worth reading for its light touch.

Good Story
Good Story, started off well but definitely lost its way half way through and became very, very complicated.Still fun seeing a 80's/90's Marvel crossover.
