RCA & headphone outputs cannot be used simultaneously
I needed a simple mixer that allowed simultaneous use for both the RCA outputs, and the 1/8" headphone / line output. Unfortunately, this does not work. Used separately, each output is fine. However when headphones are plugged in to the 1/8" jack, the RCA output level is reduced drastically (but not muted). There was a similar question about this in December 2020 which was not clearly answered. The answer is the RCA output is not muted when headphones are plugged in; however due to the change in signal level output, you cannot effectively use both outputs at the same time. I emailed Rolls technical support as I wanted to see if they had a different product that would work, but unfortunately they never replied. It seems this drawback affects quite a few mixers. I eventually bought a Yamaha AG06 which worked perfectly - both headphone and line outs can be used simultaneously, and the AG06 also has a separate volume control for the headphones as a bonus. The cost of the Yamaha was triple the Rolls Mini MIx and the AG06 has many features I don't need, but it did work. Note that because it only has 1/4" line outputs for stereo/monitor out, the Yamaha requires a pair of 1/4" to RCA adapters if you need RCA output jacks as the second output along with the 1/8" headphone jack.

I never thought I would need this...
For me, this is sort of a strange product that you might never need until you suddenly have a very specific need for it. If you even got this far to find this product, and you are reading this review, just go and buy it. You will be hard-pressed to find much else like it for a better price. So why did I need it? I have a pair of computer speakers that I wanted to connect to my TV. Why would I connect computer speakers to my TV, you might ask? They're really nice, ok! Trust me, they sound better than any sound bar I've come across. The TV has the standard HDMI ports, but luckily there was a 3.5mm headphone jack to run out to my speakers. Here's the problem, though. I also had an Echo Dot that I was planning on running through the same pair of speakers. But how do you run two devices through the same pair of speakers? This is the answer. I searched endlessly for other similar devices, but all of them had some weird quirk that made them useless to me. Some of them were mono only or took different connections that would have required to buy me a ton of adapters. This one is good because it is stereo, and had the simplest connections that worked for me - 3.5mm and RCA. Unfortunately, I had to buy an RCA to 3.5mm adapter to connect my Echo Dot, but a product like this with two 3.55mm ports AND stereo will probably never exist. So basically, I was forced to buy this because I had very specific needs and there really wen't many other options for a better price. Luckily, it is a good product. It is built sturdily and feels high quality, and I like that I am able to control each device's volume independently.

Well built and sounds great.
Well built and sounds great. I use this mixer to add audio from an Amazon Echo Dot to our stereo system. Note, you will probably need a separate power amplifier to do this - I'm sending the preamp output of a receiver to this mixer and then to a separate power amplifier that drives the front speakers. The Echo is connected to the second input on the mixer.

Subwoofer aid
My old Yamaha receiver has always had a weak subwoofer signal, I used the ROLLS MINI MIX to increase the LFE signal to my two home theater subs. What I really liked about it is, you can really fine tune exactly how much bass you want without menus or EQ calibration.

Simple and well built
Produces good sound. Does bot pickup noise in its metal case. Very well built and simple but versatile.

Fulfilled Expectations
I chose this rating as the product did everything I needed.I especially liked the little thought about feature of a volume control knob on the product. I had volume control separate from the remote control.Definitely good for the person that is hard of hearing but does not have hearing aids.
