Didn't Last a Week
The media could not be loaded. They looked nice. For about a week. Then one morning, one fell out into the sink. And the plastic ring on the back dropped down into the overflow. That hasn't caused a problem YET but I don't want to risk having it happen again.RETURNED**Update**When I went to return these, Amazon offered to ship me replacements. Since one worked I thought I'd give another set a try. I've attached a video of what I received. The replacements were different from the one that didn't fail. I can't tell if they are the same as the one that failed but I suspect so.** Update 2**I put one of the replacements in my sink's overflow drain. It seemed loose so I pulled it out. The plastic ring was already partially off the metal (see photo).RETURNED (with prejudice)

Rusting in less than one month.
I was thrilled when I received this. It looked good and fit. However, after less than one month it is rusting on the inside. I expected more than that. I am returning it and the search continues.

The Build Quality to Price Ratio is awesome
comparing this at the price point to the plastic trim rings is laughable. These things are awesome. It is true that the fit is a bit loose, not enough to make me angry or fall out but definitely enough to have them pop out when cleaning the sink. What I would suggest is to put an O-ring around the plastic portion and use that to wedge it in, I haven't tried it yet but I would imagine it would work. Good Luck.

It looks great!
I got these thinking why would I, but honestly it made the whole sink POP. It looks very clean, modern, and they were just a quick pop in and out. I was very thrilled with it. They were quick to come in, bc of Amazon. I was looking at other sites and their shipping was 10 plus and I wasn't look at anything else. Thanks for adding your product on Amazon for my life to be sooo convent. I will not be able to answer if it tarnishes or if its rusts, but I can follow up in a few months for those who are wondering, we are going to hope it doesn't. I also think anything for 6 bucks is a great deal ,since everything else is sooo expensive these days.

Decent quality but a caveat
I purchased the ones with overflow cap. They look beautiful on my sinks and the metal trim is heavy, indicating good build quality. So why only 3 stars? It's about the plastic clip. It does not attach to the metal trim in a securely tight way. When I tried removing the whole cover from my sink, the metal trim was pulled out of the plastic clip, with the clip left inside the overflow hole which then fell through the overflow channel. It took me a lot of effort to remove the drain to get the clip out. So be very careful when you have to remove it.

Good product . . . with silicone.
Nicely designed. Bummer that the catch is made of plastic. Why? It will not fit snug against the overflow hole. And, even if it does (for a bit), it is plastic. So it will eventually shift and slip.Thing is, this didn't cost that much. And a bit of silicone (supplied by me, obviously) fixes the issue of keeping the insert in place. But I would pay more for the same product if they actually used metal for the catch. Simple rule: you pay more to make; I pay more to purchase. And I should have noted that it was plastic. So that is on me, not them.

So much better than before!
We had new granite countertops installed last year and, at the time, the sink hole covers looked fine. Within a few months, these covers turned green and, when I tried to clean them, the finish scrubbed off. Why in the world would a premium countertop company use these plastic pieces of crap? I was delighted to find these brushed nickel replacements on Amazon. Installation took seconds, and they look great. I only wish they were sold in multi-packs to save a bit of money, but still, no regrets on this purchase.

Perfect fit and looks great!
I purchased 5 of these for all of my bathroom sinks. They are so much nicer than the cheap plastic chrome covered ones that the chrome coating had come off and you could see the black plastic. These are very well made and fit the overflow holes much better than the plastic ones. I purchased the brushed nickel to match the plumbing fixtures in my bathrooms and they match perfectly.
