It is plastic and hopeful it will last more than one season. Unlike others this one arrived and worked fine with no leaking. The strap it came with is far too short. Much easier to carry around by the handle. Cleaning? just pour water in, pump and spray residue out. Then rinse with cold water. It comes with a boat load of rubber washers. Half of which I know not where these go. Guess if I get a face full of bug spray I'll know which seal went bad right? LOL

I guess $33 for a sprayer was too much to wish for. Bought 1 year ago August 2024. Used about two times. Approximately 6 months after I started using it, it had been stored inside my shed, when I went to use it again, the pressure release valve was leaking and could barely hold pressure. Now, 1 year after I started using this sprayer, the pressure release valve is leaking worse and the spray wand trigger is also leaking when I spray. I've MacGyvered the pressure release valve and am simply putting up with the leak for now. I've now reached out to the seller for spare parts. We shall see. In any event, I would not buy this item/brand again.

I do not normally buy things manufactured outside the US but VIVOSUN probably has a customer for life... I normally have to buy a new sprayer every year but after unpacking and using this sprayer the day it arrived I can see this one lasting many years... it is solid, precise and and very easy to use... well designed... Then manual gives detailed disassembly and maintenance instructions in perfect English... And a bag marked 'Spare Parts'... a complete set of rings and nozzles which will make this last for many years...
