Looks and fits just like the old pair of SAS that the spouse had for years
I am always terrified to order shoes online, even when the online item is the exact same product and size as the one that is being replaced. I've had any number of bad experiences from the size being off to the product being of lesser quality than the one that was bought in person in a brick and mortar store. With that said, the husband wore out the soles of the pair of SAS that he'd had for years. No point re-soling because the shoe was also starting to give up the ghost. He usually wears and 11.5 D (regular width), sometimes a 12D if the shoe is cut more narrowly. Occasionally, he can wear an 11E (wide) but sometimes gets the feeling that his toes are bumping up against the front of the shoe.Out of the box these looked exactly like the old pair. He has worn the new pair once and says they fit fine. I can't speak to how durable they will be based on one wearing, but the composition of the sole seems to be the same as that of the old pair, so would be pretty unhappy if they didn't last as long, especially for the full price that we paid for these. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that it absolutely KILLS ME to pay over $180 for shoes, even though that seems to be the going rate for these SAS. I tried to find them on sale but had no luck.

Comparing SAS Men's Bout Time Oxford, Guardian Lace up, Navigator Non Slip Loafer, Time Out Walking
I tried out four SAS Men's shoes. Here is my take.Bout Time Oxford - This one is the widest. The other three fit similarly. This is NOT non-slip.Guardian Lace up Shoes - This one fits tighter than the Bout Time. This comes with a non-slip sole.Navigator Non Slip Loafer - This one fits similar to Guardian, but tighter than the Bout Time. This also comes with a non-slip sole.Time Out Walking Shoe - This one fits similar to Guardian in the toe area, but the quarter is too high and rubs against my ankle.

SAS - Who knew?
Most comfortable shoes ever had. Extra pair of shoestrings included in package. Quality workmanship. Will buy a few more in the future but I expect these to last a long time. You definitely get what you pay for with these shoes. Highly recommended!

Nothing like SAS shoes for problematic feet
My husband has terrible feet and since he started wearing SAS shoes he stopped using his arches because of shoes do a better job and is arches ever did. He's been in SAS shoes for a long time at this point. I just love the comfort and the ease of purchasing from Amazon and the price is the same whether I buy it on Amazon or at my local shoe store. This way it comes to my door.

Great Fit
The shoes arrived on-time, in excellent condition, and was exactly as described. The shoes are for my husband who is very particular about how shoes fit his feet, and the SAS Time-Out (7N) fits his feet perfectly. He is very satisfied with the quality of the shoes, the color (antique walnut), and most importantly, the shoes' comfort and fit.

Very Comfortable Shoe
These shoes are incredibly comfortable. I purchased them for my son, a surgeon who spends many hours a day on his feet. He usually gets double wide, but this company didn't carry the double wide. Surprisingly they fit him just fine. He has purchased the exact shoe for may years because they keep his feet in good shape in spite of long hours.

Out of the box instant comfort
I wanted to wear a USA shoe. I'm guessing SAS is probably not going to change this popular shoe. I used to wear New Balance 928 which NB kept changing, both where they were made and probably the last. I think they're at 928 V. 4 now. The original was a superb shoe.I think the Time Out is as good. It will likely be my forever shoe--if SAS doesn't screw it up like NB did the 928. I doubt they will.
