I gave it a 5 star despite the first one being defective, not holding calibration. This is because the customer service department was so cooperative and did not question my analysis of the problem, and quickly offered to replace it.

Great looking gauge , it’s tinted so it’s hard to tell what the gauge is. The lighting looks clear and bright. The programming worked perfect. Just remember to ground the sending unit when programming. If you can’t get to your sending unit easy this may not work for you.

Others had reported that the gauge does not save settings after power off. So far, that has not been an issue, although i wonder just how long the settings will be saved. 🤷🏼‍♂️. Otherwise, all seems as described. i do wish that the seller would have the option of a chrome bezel in addition to the black, which would allow it to match with existing gauge sets. Also, a longer (1m maybe) cable would have been nice, eliminating the need to splice. Edited to add: this could be tricky if you don’t have access to the fuel sending unit - either its “buried” in the body of the vehicle or its a side mounted unit in a tank full of fuel. You can pump out the fuel to get to “empty”, record that level, then refill the tank to “full” and record that level. Fiddly but doable.

This gage would not stay calibrated when the 12v power was disconnected. Custome Service did not answer through Amazon or on their web site. I bought a replacement unit and it did work, so there's that.
