Perfect fitment, bought to troubleshoot a blowing fuse (#8) by elimination and figured I could use a new one anyways. Will update if I see rubber boots start to deteriorate. I used a little sealant around the boot to prevent water from seeping through

It works on a 1992 Ford F-150 Reg Cab Drivers Door.
I bought this item even though it said read door. When I took the old one off my 1992 F-150 it looked just like this model so i purchased it. I put it on today 4/18/2021 and its an exact replacement for the original one. Works great. I am very happy. Its one more thing I can check off of my get it fixed list.

Very easy to install, took one screw out, unplugged wire, installed back in, put one screw in. Worked great

Where's the rubber cover?
Just unboxed my switch and there is no rubber covering on it. Is this a new thing or is it a dud? Should I install and try it or return it????
