This nozzle appears to be well built and the quality of the workmanship look to be top notch. However, when I used it to water my front yard, the flow coming out of this nozzle seems to be restricted. When I compare it to my older nozzle of a similar design (but no longer available anywhere) there is a marked difference in amount of water that is allowed to flow through the nozzle. My old nozzle allows the full water pressure in the pipe to flow through it, but, this nozzle seems to restrict it to only 50% or 60% of the available water pressure. It's pretty anemic when compared to the older nozzle. Truth be told, most of the nozzles that I've tried do not compare to my old nozzle. Hopefully I'll be able to find it somewhere. I'll just store this new nozzle with the others that failed the test. I may even try to take it apart to see if there is something that is restricting the flow and try to remove it.The two star rating is only for the nozzle itself. The seller was great. They shipped the product quickly and I received it promptly.

This is an excellent high flow nozzle for heavy watering, fire fighting, or wash down work. You must have good water pressure, and flow, or you will not be happy with this nozzle. I am getting somewhere close to 10+ gpm from my water system. If you barely get water out the end of your garden hose, then this nozzle is not for you. I also don't recommend this for watering fragile plants. The flow rate is too high for wimpy flowers. Note: Only the outer tube is brass. the spreader tip is stainless, and the internal part and hose connection appear to be some form of zinc die cast, but it is a solid casting, so it should last a while. This nozzle turns on and off from the straight stream position only. It does not shut off from the wide angle position. The nozzle can be disassembled by removing the allen screw in the front, so if it ever leaks, the O-rings can be greased or replaced.

I have used a variety of fireman hose nozzles and this one so far has been perfect. Easy to use and very good pressure. I use this to spray down the calcium buildup on the pool tile and it takes it off. I also use it to water plants at a lower speed and it is easy to adjust to whatever flow of water pressure you would like just by a twist of the nozzle.

This is the second fireman's nozzle I've had. The first was lighter weight with excellent control of the spray pattern, and I still use it. The one I just bought is disappointing especially because the spray pattern is not uniform, but it is also heavy to hold. This one is just barely acceptable and not worth the trouble to replace. I know this type of nozzle can perform much better than the one I just received. It is almost as though it is a "factory second" or irregular. Very disappointing.

This nozzle is exactly what I needed. It’s designed to flow a lot of water. I wanted it for fire suppression. It’s great

I did buy this to wash the car and it works great - easy to adjust the spray and shuts off with a quick twist. Yes, I would buy it again!

Pressure flow is not even when you try to regulate it. I have goid water pressure and with other cheaper fireman house, I can control even flow, but with this one when closing itto create grate pressure, the output water split.

We had one of these for years and my pool guy recently broke it so I was thrilled to find one again. I prefer this type of nozzle instead of having to squeeze a handle which makes my hand cramp up. The pressure on these nozzles makes your hose as strong as a pressure washer! The only downfall about this one compared to my last is that you can only turn it off in one direction rather than either way, which happens to be the highest pressure so when you do turn it on it's at full pressure instead of the opposite, which it should be.
