Superb! Order 1 to 1.5 sizes UP if between sizes or have wide feet like me — they'll still be cute!
Such great boots! I wear a 7 or 7.5 and have very wide feet. I almost got Size 8 in these but then read other reviews and thought better of it ... and ordered Size 9s despite my dread of how giant and clunky and hideous they would be. The 9s fit PERFECTLY and are in fact the same length and width and chunkiness as my Size 7.5 Sorel winter boots. I think with the octopus lining they are actually a little bit cute! In fact, I walked around the house with these Xtratuf boots on for about an hour before I looked at the box and saw (and remembered) I got 9s instead of 8s — that's how normal-sized they look. I can wear my normal winter socks with these or just light socks and both ways are fine ... More importantly though — so far these are also totally waterproof to let me get to our boat (and stay dry) when the docks are flooded from high water (as they are now all over the Great Lakes). I also find them to be just as "grippy" as my trampoline neoprene rubber-bottomed booties for sail racing — and these Xtratuf boots don't leave marks on our topsides either. I will be interested to see how the grippiness remains as the boots wear. So far so good!

Comfy, durable, slip-resistant, and cute? Sold.
I love the partnership with Salmon Sisters to make these XTRATUFs a little eXTRA special... 😂 And for whatever reason, this women's specific version is cushier than the original men's sized version (no complaints here, but my boyfriend is jealous). I live out of these boots. If they aren't on my feet, then they're by my door or in my car ready for whatever the day holds - whether it be a walk through a mucky job-site or field while scouting for ducks, crabbing, a trip to the beach with my dogs, or just the short trek to get some firewood from the woodshed (I live where it's wet outside more often than not). I typically wear a 6.5 or 7 in other shoes like Nike, and went with a 7 in these. I can wear thick wool socks with them, and they fit comfortably.

Great boots for winter
Keep my feet dry and warm during rain and snow. Fits well too. The slip resistant is a great feature for frosty mornings. Love these boots.

They are amazing
The thing that's shocked me the most about these amazing boots was I didn't even have to put socks on to walk around in the snow and my feet did not get cold. I do wear socks with them but the first couple times I wore them I didn't. I just went out to the mailbox and back. These boots are awesome.

So cute and comfy!!!
These are adorable! I live in the Oregon coast and good rain boots are a necessity. My other pair of xtratuf’s are men’s neoprene from the farm store are men’s neoprene and brown, so I was super excited to get some girly ones! I love that when it’s hot I can wear them folded down with shorts (yes, rain boots are sometimes still necessary). Without the neoprene they are very comfortable for greenhouse/farm work in the spring and summer. It took me a bit to get used to the thinner soles, but no issues even walking on sharp gravel or having to put a lot of pressure while shoveling. The first day I wore them the local fishermen were like “nice new boots!” I had never expected those guys to notice!I love the collaboration with Salmon Sisters! Both great companies and I couldn’t be happier!!!

Cute lining - but not the fishing boot Xtuff's once were
I am very familiar with xtuff's as I lived 27 years in an Alaska commercial fishing town. Now, more women wear the boots for a 'fashion statement' when the purchase was a much needed part of your fishing gear.I also worked selling xtuff boots years ago, and the big selling point is the patented Chevron sole - best rated on slippery boat decks. No decent Alaskan commercial fisherman would go on deck without them (except for the east coast fisherman who swore on their blue boots). General acknowledgement is that the boots lasted longer then now when they were made in America. You paid a pretty penny for them but you got more than one season out of the inside (plain) liner and the boot outer rubber didn't split and crack easily. Now Xtuff's come in women's sizes. Back then, you were a woman looking for the boots you had to size down from men's sizes and include a felt insole - which was great for warmth and comfort as well. The Xtuff boots I just received: cute inside liner is loose in the back on one (= sloppy instillation), weird oil residue on rubber outside, stiff out of the box not flexible rubber, foot fit tighter than I recall - don't think I'll be putting in the felt insole - but hey ! heck of a cute octopus liner bonus! And -the boots are made to be snug on the calves = less water allowed to spill into the boot. For the fashion forward who want to blend in at a beach party or a blue grass stomp, just fold down the boot top to reveal the cute liner, and you'll look like all the rest of the in crowd gals.

Cute but ruined after 1 wear.
When I received these I was over the moon! They’re so cute and extremely comfortable! However, I used them once. Once. And they’re ruined. The fold over, which is super cute, has the brand name and within the hour it was flapping off. In addition, the front tag is messed up now from being folded down and looks scratched. For $150 I expected them to at least keep the paint on for more than one wear. They’re going back because there is no way to contact the company from the Amazon page.

Great boots but don't size up
I got my first pair of Xtratufs in kids sizes so I wasn't 100% about women's sizing, but everyone in the reviews swore they ran small & if you want to wear thick socks size up so I listened and sized up. Well, if you have average feet like me, not wide or heavy set feet, this is entirely unnecessary. Now I have a pair of $200 too large boots I tired everything to make fit, I put insoles in & wore thick hiking socks, nope still foot flying around when I'm trying to go up some muddy hill & not good for trekking Alaska like I planned, I imagine after 9 miles of foot sliding around I'd be pretty sore so I ordered my correct size. Kinda wish I'd just returned immediately instead of trying to make it work because there was no making it work, I tried so hard. The boots themselves are awesome but if you have normal feet, don't size up & end up with way too big boots like me.
