Blood Hemoglobin Test Strips(2X25pcs)

I use Testosterone replacement therapy and for me the injections thicken my blood. So I have to monitor my hemoglobin to be sure I don’t get into the dangerous range of having a stroke. I haven’t yet checked This against a CBC panel but am working with a doctor to do that shortly. At least initially I’m getting consistent results within the expected range and the strips work well in my test unit. Minimal blood draw is needed for a reading.

Worked as intended.

I got this product specifically for the hemoglobin test. This product returned like a 11.8, actual labs returned an 8.2. That is a pretty dramatic difference. I verified the proper code before testing. I made multiple tests.My hope was to use these tests to keep an eye on the severity of anemia. This product will not fulfill that desire.

I have been using this product for about 2 years now. I don’t treat the readings as an absolute, but rather as a trend. I know what the lab says and what the meter says so I watch the meter readings to tell me what direction my Hb is going.The reading results are very dependent on how the sample is taken by my observation. Having a consistent sample method results in more consistent results.When I get new strips I test with the last two of the old batch against two from the new batch to give me a new baseline. I also observe the color of the sample as that too is indicative of Hb level.

Reads much higher than actual lab test 😕

in the middle of the second vial, the machine kept on giving error message and it wouldn't read the result.
