Storybook Kit - My Own Storybook - Create Your Own Hardcover Picture Book

My family created a book for my daughter because she enjoys reading. The process was really fun in having everyone do their own page. It was an easy process to follow with the steps and we received the book in about a month and a half.

This was simple to do and very fun. My son was very happy with the book, and it's good quality binding, hardcover, good paper. You should know there is a word and format limit; this is designed for shorter kids stories not novels. Great for kids, or someone looking to make a kids book as a keepsake.

I am so impressed with these that I have ordered a total of 5. I had a few questions so I called the company directly. I believe it to be a small company and they are super super nice. I wouldn't hesitate to call them if I were you. The package contains a few cover pages, many regular pages to write the story and draw a picture, markers, a form to fill out after the book is finished, and a postage paid envelope to send everything back in. It takes around 2 months to recieve your book back. The story HAS to be written in pencil. NO MORE than 20 words per page and NO MORE than 12 regular pages total. With the cover page it's 13 pages and thats fine. They send extra pages of everything in case of mistakes. Pictures can be done with the markers provided, your own markers, or gel pens. Pictures CAN NOT be done in colored pencils. My daughter loves receiving her books back. I absolutely recommend this to anyone with elementary school kids that love to write books.

We gave this to our 8 year old granddaughter for Christmas who loves to draw and write. When she received her hard cover book in the mail, she was so excited. She took it to school for show and tell, and her teacher loved it too.I have since bought 2 more for gifts and show my granddaughter's off to everyone.What an amazing novel gift. I highly recommend it.

I am not in the USA so I am unable to enjoy the printed copy but I love the concept as I want to encourage of creation. It will make a good gift for Christmas!

Oh my god! This completely surpassed our expectations, such a professional way of creating own book. Great quality! I will use this again and again and would encourage all parents to use it atleast once.

I wish there weren't limits on how many words there can be. We haven't sent it out yet to be finalized but I'm sure my son will love it.

I bought this for my 6 year old granddaughter for Christmas last year and she absolutely loved it. Her mother helped her design the book about each of the holidays and the family members and traditions for each. We all loved seeing our mentions and her drawings of us. She asked for another book kit this year. Can’t wait to see what she does with this one!
