Broken damaged

I brought this to keep coffee made in my drip ,filter coffee maker and it works great,keeping my coffee hot for hours

After using these for a month (every Monday, Wednesday and Friday) the piece that stays inside the airpots that pumps the liquid has begun to rust. To be clear, they are set out for a few hours, taken in, cleaned and dried and set away for the next day. There is rust not only along the seam on the exterior of this piece but also on the inside. People are drinking from these, how are these pieces not treated?! Even better, I contacted Amazon on 4/15 only to find out the return window closed on 4/13. What I thought was a defect has now happened with both airpot inserts and so now I'll have to have it out to try to get my money back. SMH

can't hardly pore coffee out. this thing is junk
