My almost 3 month old pup loves this toy!! She brings it in every room and sleeps with it. When she first got it, you could tell she was surprised at heartbeat inside cause she’d stick her face up to it, it was really cute!! Great quality no rips or tearing from puppy teeth. And the Velcro is very secure!! Very fun for her, a great size and the heartbeat is def strong. You a sweet the heartbeat on 8hr or 24/7 and it says with 3 double a batteries irl go 2weeks on 24/7 mode if you have a pup with anxiety or separation issues!!

This is a must for new puppies. I took a Snuggle Puppy with me when I picked up our labrador puppy at 7 weeks old. The breeder rubbed it on the mother's back a few times for us to capture her mother's scent and we were off for a two hour ride home. She slept the whole way home on top of her puppy and slept for 5 hours the first night with just a few whimpers at the half-way mark. The ride home and a new environment really wore her out. By the third night and every night since, both my puppy and I have gotten a good night's sleep (7 hours then 9+ hours)! I think the heart beat and heating pack, along with her mother's scent, made her transition to our house go so smoothly. Both the heating packs and heart beat worked as advertised. I never replaced the battery in the hearbeat but stopped using that after a week or so when I was confident her bedtime routine was solid. Now at 14 weeks, she will take the puppy out of her kennel to play with and most nightes uses it as a pillow. The snuggle puppy is well-constructed and shows no signs of wear and tear. The tail has been chewed on daily and is still there. I could have an easy puppy but would never bring home another puppy without a Snuggle Puppy. Our nighttime temperatures will be below zero this week so I will stick a heating pack in Snuggle Puppy to help keep our puppy comfortable. Snuggle Puppy is the best invention to help a new puppy transition to their forever home.

I got my puppy yesterday and this is, so far, the best thing I purchased. He wrestles with it and sleeps against it. He slept through the night which I totally did not expect. The toy is bigger than he is and that make the whole thing just that much cuter. I have a feeling I will be going through a lot of batteries but I think it's completely worth it. The toy is soft and so far has taken the little guys teeth with no tearing. I'll update further if he manages to rip it open or anything Update: No tearing and I did put in a hand warmer overnight to see how that worked. It made the toy warm enough to the touch to be comforting but not too hot. I'm not sure my puppy noticed or cared and I haven't done it since. He loves to wrestle with this and sleeps next to or on top of it whenever it's nap time. Update May 2017 -- He loves this toy, he still sleeps with it every night. It hasn't had a heartbeat or the warmer in years but it is still his go to sleep toy. It goes with him to boarding and on every trip. He still has the original stuffy though it doesn't have ears or eyes anymore. I had to wash it once due to an explosion in the crate, with a lot of bleach, and it fared very well. He wasn't sure about it for a few days as it didn't smell right anymore, but he soon fell in love with it again. Im very impressed with the quality as this has lasted three plus years of pretty constant mauling. Five Year Update: He still loves this toy. I keep considering getting a new one and swapping them out but it's held up surprisingly well. Seven Year Update: My neighbors got a puppy and she just cried the whole first night in the crate. I got her one of these and the difference is amazing. She hears the heartbeat and goes directly into her crate! I broke down and got my dog another one, even though this is a big pricey for the size of toy. He is in love. He has spent hours cuddling with this in the past two days. I put up a pic of the old one vs new one. I finally washed the old one and it's better, but he LOVES the new one. I was being sentimental as it was the toy I had with me when I picked him up from the breeder, but apparently he doesn't care. I will be getting more, possibly yearly, as he destroys them.

The heartbeat was too loud for my puppy so he got aggressive with it. Worked better as his sleeping buddy after I took out the heartbeat

After reading in forums about how puppies should have nothing in their crates, but some said it was okay for some things, we bought the original Snuggle Puppy to have before our 8 week old golden retriever arrived. Put it in his overnight crate with an unwashed T-shirt and a soft pet mat. DO NOT THINK TWICE. JUST GET THE SNUGGLE PUPPY!! Goose came from a litter of 11 surviving pups and we felt he would have issues in the beginning not having sleep buddies. We only allow the Snuggle Puppy in his overnight crate, not for general play times, and he sleeps on it or with a paw over it EVERY NIGHT since night one. Other than potty breaks overnight he has slept well every night with literally zero whining until time to get up. We have had our doggo for 22 days. Extremely worth the money. We do not use the heat pack. Sometimes we run the heaetbeat on the 8 hour cycle and sometimes the 24/7 depending on a couple different things. Stop contemplating. Just get it.

I bought my first snuggle puppy almost 15 years. I just bought my 3rd and I’ve sent them as gifts a few times over the years. They work, especially for puppies missing their littermates for the first time. The faux fur, heartbeat sound and vibrations are very soothing for them. I also never had a dog tear one up and I had a lab puppy that grew to be 115 lbs. And I think the quality is even better than it was 15 years ago. When does that happen!?!

The Original Snuggle Puppy Heartbeat Toy has been a total game-changer for our puppy, Maisie! ❤️ The heartbeat feature, plus it being the same color as her mom, has really comforted her. I truly believe it’s helped with crate training — we’ve had her for 10 days, and she has slept through the night for the last 7 nights! Best invention ever for a new puppy. Highly recommend for anyone bringing home a young dog!

I give this product an 3/5 stars this is my most UPDATED 2024 VERSION I got my new puppy June 14th she’s a maltipoo and I ordered this 2 days before she arrived but it came overnight so I would say I got this June 13th is when it arrived and I bought this because my mom was telling me how puppies will cry and cry through the night so I went on Amazon searching for something and I found this read all the reviews everybody loved this so I said why not buy this and see what the hype is so her first night home was HECTIC this is a REAL RAW REVIEW !! I put the heating pad and the little heartbeat inside of this stuffed animal and it didn’t help her at all she whined and cried through the night keeping me up FOR HOURS keep in mind this is the very first night home I even tried to switch the heartbeat around in the stuffed animal and eventually I ended up having to take the heartbeat out and place it on the cage it worked for a short period of time until she started crying and crying again I don’t know if this was because I waited to turn it on until nighttime I don’t know what it was but the first night was horrible and this thing didn’t do in hopes what I thought it would do so today is now June 17th the day I’m writing this review and puppy mamas it will mark 3 days of her being with me Saturday and Sunday she slept through the night no noise i did have the heartbeat on but I leave it on the outside and not inside I leave it on top of the stuffie and I’ve noticed her starting to cuddle up with the stuffie I just feel like I shouldn’t have to leave the heartbeat on the outside of the stuffie and I’m also crate training her in the process so she’s learning when she cries I won’t be taking her out until I wake up but so far so good only issue is me not being able to keep the heart inside the stuffie it’s very annoying and because she’s so teenie tiny she barely has teeth and is teething and it gets on the side where she is potty training but I give it 3 stars because I’ve seen her cuddle up with it like I said I don’t know if this is due to her actually liking the stuffie or her realizing she won’t get out the crate until morning time so she sleeps next to it for comfort but I am grateful that we have been able to sleep through the night peacefully on her second and third night with us that’s what I’m most grateful for because she’s her coat color is white and the stuffie is white they do blend in together 😂which is hard to tell if she’s in the cage when I wake up even though I know she is I would’ve gotten closer but I didn’t want to wake her my puppy was 7 weeks when I picked her up she just turned 8 weeks yesterday. Again puppy mommies I’m not sure if this is something you introduce to them when they first get home and not waiting until nighttime but I’ve started turning the heartbeat on 2 hours before her bedtime or 1 hour and a half and I’ve noticed changes helping to stay quiet through the night and again as I’ve said I wake up and she’s sleep next to it in the cage . This also NEVER came with an QR CODE to “get a free toy” like the other reviews were saying .. mine never came with one so that’s a lie .
