No they do not. You would have to buy separately and make sure it is 8 ring caps you order as they do not take the strips as previously asked by someone else.

Q: What age do you rate this cap gun

we bought I for a six year old, it's quite well made and heavy, but it still works well now almost a year later.

Q: Anyone worked out the best way to clean out the cylinder after lots of power residue buildup - mine is too clogged and won't load properly anymore?

Small baby bottle (dr browns) brush. Or pipe cleaners for crafts. Amazon have them
