Apex Tactical Specialties 104-001, Armorer's Block, for Gunsmiths, Polymer, Red

This is a very handy thing to have if you’re going to be doing any work on a Glock product. While you can probably get away with jury rigging something at home for occasional use, this is nice to have because it holds everything in place really securely. One of my favorite features is the slot it has for the striker assembly. It makes it really easy to put together a striker assembly without the spring cups flying off. This alone makes this a worthwhile purchase. Also, it’s pretty sturdy and seems like it will last a very long time.

I already own an armorer's block, the round kind with holes in it. However, I felt it was somewhat lacking at times. Since having purchased this adjustable block I have found it to be a bit easier to use since it has adjustable pieces on it that secures my pistol that I am working on. Very nice and easy to use. It is also non-marring so it does not damage whatever pistol I have put on it. I thought it would not fit in my toolbox but it does very conveniently.Thanks Apex Tactical Specialties.

Fits my Glock Gen 4 G17 and G34 just great.It's a sturdy stand, and makes working on my guns far easier than trying to balance the frame on a roll of tape or between a couple of books. I don't think the frame will ever scratch the gun, and I can make all the mods I want in no time at all. There are no sharp corners or mangy-looking mold lines; it's a nice-looking piece of kit.Thing is, it's over priced. it's just a hunk of plastic with a couple of bolts to adjust stop-blocks that hold the gun. Even though it's very well-made, it seems like the price should be at least 30% cheaper. If it were under twenty-bucks, it would be a no-brainer. At the current asking price, I thought twice, but I still have no regrets.

This was a perfect tool to help disassemble a S&W M&P Shield. It made stripping the frame a breeze. Plus, the movable points of contact means that it can be used for a variety of frames. I've used this a few times now as I am the resident firearm tinkerer for my friends and it has definitely helped having this when I am taking the frame apart.If you are only using this once (to say swap out your trigger in a M&P), I don't think it is worth that one time use. Yes it will make the job easier, but not enough to justify only using this one time and then putting it on the shelf to collect dust.

Great item, made installing the APEX trigger and Enhancement Kit very easy. Set the adjustments dials and it will hold the components perfectly. I also bought the tray APEX Armorer's Tray Gun Stock Accessories in conjunction with this. Along with being a 'shade tree' gunsmith I am also a 'shade tree' woodworker and mechanic, so my work bench is not exactly perfect for gunsmithing, this and the tray allowed for a perfect work place and not worrying about losing pins.

Only a few dollars more than the simple round blocks and very useful. Held my M&P 9mm shield very well and the the location for the trigger swap was very helpful...that part was not an easy task. Put in the full flat face apex trigger package along with the shield duty kit. Highly recommend the block.

Does what it's suppose to if you are using a regular APEX trigger ... if you are working on an M&P and installing a Flat Faced APEX trigger this will not work ... for the trigger part anyway ... it will still work to pop out pins etc.But seriously though it's great they made this I will keep my score about medium for the fact they did this for their customers it 100% is not necessary. I am Totally Anal about my stuff and was worried about installing this flat faced trigger on my M&P9 CORE ... but this thing is seriously no better then a roll of tape to pop out pins etc. I sent it back due to the fact it does not state the flat faced trigger will not work on this block plus all in all it really is a pointless block and a waste of money IMO.
