Worked fine and more affordable than Home Depot or Lowes!
I don't have the infrastructure or need to test the actual strength of these anchors, but they seem identical to my Home Depot-sourced other ones, and were substantially cheaper. They dropped into holes in concrete just fine and took a set, letting me mount a hose spool, just like I needed, so there's not much else to say beyond they were functionally fine. I'm not going to use them to install a vehicle lift or life-saving equipment, but then again I'd let someone with an insurance policy do that, so if something goes wrong my widow would have some recourse. Installation is typical of drop in anchors; one needs a hammer drill and masonry bit but it's straightforward.

Good product, easy to use.
These work very well in concrete and stucco. They are a great value. If you were to buy they at the big box stores, you would pay three times the price. I use these for all kinds of projects. My latest use was to mount a retractable hose reel to my house. You do need masonry drill bits to drill the holes to put these into. Also, it would be nice to have a hammer drill to speed up the process.

Well made, undersize for 1/2 inch drill / use 12mm bit.
UPDATE: I ordered a 12mm SDS plus masonry bit and tried that. It works perfectly. So it appears that these are 12mm anchors, not 1/2 inch. The vendor needs to update their description. As other's have pointed out, these are undersized for a 1/2" (12.7 mm) hole. They do drop in easily though...too easily. The quality appears to be quite good. But the functionality leaves a lot to be desired. I've tried a few different methods of setting these in a 1/2" hole with a standard anchor punch as well as a long pin punch. 1) Drilling a deeper pilot hole with a 3/8" bit before drilling the actual 1/2" hole to depth, so the slug can be driven deeper to expand it more. That didn't work. 2) Used a couple of lock washers under the anchor as spacers before attempting to set it. That didn't work either. 3) Drilling a 7/16" hole instead of 1/2". That's too tight, the anchor won't go in. 4) Cleaning the 1/2" hole thoroughly with compressed air and a vacuum cleaner. Then coating the anchor in a 2 part epoxy and putting some additional epoxy down the hole. Drop the anchor in, set it and wait 24 hours. That's has worked about 75% of the time. I am going to try metal thread repair mesh for wood screws next. I'm also ordering a 15/32" (12mm) masonry bit to see if that will allow it to drop (or be tapped in) and set with a punch. So these get three stars because they're well made, the slug doesn't fall out in shipment or storage (I've had that happen with other brands) and the threads are good. But unless you plan on using construction adhesive or epoxy to set these, you may want to find another brand. I will update this review after trying them with a 15/32" bit.

Works great good strength
These work great and really do hold a good amount of weight. I use them for a harbor freight manual tire changing machine. Just make sure you don't drill the hole bigger than this part. Great price and fast shipping.

Good value: installed an outside gate
Good quality as I used this to install an outside gate (it's a cheap plastic gate so I wanted to keep the option of changing it out in the future so this allows me to unscrew the bolt without drilling more holes later). You'll need to buy a drop-in anchor tool to get it to work properly; it will likely break or not work if you use a nail and screw to hammer it. This does not have a "lip" to catch the edge of your hole, so you will need to be careful how deep you drill your hole through masonry (some of the more costly versions has a lip).

Poor design
First of all I don't like leaving negative reviews unless future buyers can benefit. After drilling and inserting the anchors (hammered in a fairly tight hole) the slightest tightening of the bolt and the anchor spins. After removing it was virtually impossible to remove the bolt from the anchor. In fact the anchor wings broke off and the bolt remained. But the worst part is these anchors have a bottom. Meaning a bolt can only go in around a quarter inch and that's it. So if you do not have the exact right length bolt forget it. I was trying to anchor a flange to cement (pool slide) it is impossible to know the exact length bolt needed. I didn't 2+ hours and accomplished nothing.

Undersized and thus requires a smaller diameter hole to reliably anchor them
These are nicely machined and I would have normally given them 5 stars except for the fact that the barrel bodies are undersized. Most 1/4"-20 anchors are 3/8" in diameter and you would bore a 3/8" hole to install them into. However these are closer to 5/16" in diameter but yet they still recommend you bore a 3/8" hole -- which is what I did. Big mistake. Unless you are lucky, you'll find like I did, that tightening a bolt into these anchors more than likely will result in the anchor just spinning around and not locking into the hole. Instead you need to bore a 5/16" hole that you'll drop the anchor into. However the setting tool to lock these anchors is 3/8" inches wide so you'll then have to re-bore the hole down to the depth of the top of the anchor to 3/8" in order to set the anchor. Big pain in the butt.

Good quality anchors
Worked as a concrete anchor should. Good quality as in fit and finish and size. Will purchase again.
