Q: Can I buy the triple mount and use two monitors until I purchase a third? Are the two monitors on the outer arms able to be right next to each other?

Hi Ryan, yes you can use just two arms temporarily until you get the third monitor. If you have enough clearance at the back of the desk, the two arms are able to adjust to be side-by-side.

I have the double-monitor mount attached to a sit-stand desk. It works great as long as you have enough slack on the monitor power cables.
