Pretty cool "knife". I really like it
When I first received this knife, I was shocked by how big and heavy it was (and that's NOT what she said). I don't know what I expected but I thought it would be more delicate than this. But FWIW, this ended up being very useful to wedge a whole butter stick into a butter bell. Never could I have done that with a metal knife. And a plastic knife would break. This "knife" is very substantial so I was able to apply a lot of pressure with NO issues. Besides that, it's simply a beautiful "knife" because of its olive wood and its gorgeous pattern. Finally, why do I keep referring to it as a "knife", between quotes? Because it's not really a knife. You ain't gonna be able to cut anything with this unless it's crumbly to begin with. Think of this as a spreader. A sturdy spreader. You can use this for butter, mayo, honey, sour cream, yogurt, jam, stuff like that.. I'm getting more of these because I love them.

Cute. Great size
I love these! I’m kind of picky when it comes to kitchen stuff and I couldn’t find olive wood knives locally so I purchased these. They are beautiful.

Lovely and functional
I bought this hoping to use it as a cheese spreader (primarily with my beloved boursin cheese) and found it to be a bit too large and a little less than effective for what I intended. Nevertheless, I love it, it's beautiful, and is great for use with creamer textured "stuff!"

Great wooden knife
I received this mysterious package, a large overstuffed padded envelope indicating it came from the UK. I am very intrigued, could it be a gift? Perhaps something sent by a friend or family member? The soft bubble rap disguised the shaped, which I probed for clues while walking back from the mailbox. Once inside my apt, I set the unopened package on the coffee table and revel in the excitement. Could it be my buddy living in London? Or one of my colleagues from the Nottingham office? As I breach the envelope, a bundle of bubblewrap. Hmmm. Each layer I peel off the bubble wrap fails to satisfy my curiosity. Finally, it is lying in my hands. A well crafted piece of beautiful wood in my palm. My anticipation and excitement turns to confusion. I roll it back and forth, play with different grips. What is it used for? Could it be a palette knife for me to make a textured acrylic seascape a la Bob Ross? Perhaps you could use the broad side for some exotic new massage technique. Completely stumped. Then a small clue hiding in the torn up packaging material. A packing sheet, "Thank you for your Amazon order". So its a butter spreading knife and looks like a very nice one. But I'm a vegan bachelor living in a flop loft. So why would I order a fancy butter knife? Simple. Ambien. Great purchase. Would order again!

nice knife
I bought two of these recently. They are very pretty, made of olive wood, and are supposed to last a lifetime. I read the olive wood trees are from Tunisia. I am keeping one and giving one as a gift for a Christmas gift exchange, along with a Butter Bell.
