The print is much larger than the Power Of Psalms book, but it does have the little categories listed underneath the Psalms to tell you, what it do! What makes the sunlight books worth buying? Inside the book, look for the backward lP sign (I just learned IP backwards stands for Reference Point (to other similar phrases and parts to the bible). In each chapter you will find these symbols in the book. The author didn't explain it, but these lines are really important and have special meanings and is a summary of whatever that particular verse is speaking about. And, it cuts down on your daily read time immensely.Does this little book work? Yup! Just could be the best $15 you've spent in this lifetime, family folks!Whenever I need to find out about spiritual church folk information I go to people I know.Buy and study this one first. I've noticed some strange reviews, some stemming from people not being familiar with the 1611 King James Version of the Bible, complete with its thees and thous, which this is based on. Certain dated terms are used often, such as referring to God as 'terrible', due to 'terrible' originally referring to something awe or fear inspiring.Also, this isn't the Necronomicon or some spooky scary demonic book... please cleanse things you bring into your house, especially those brought in through the mail and have been touched by dozens of people and touched thousands of other equally-handled packages on their way to you. Not only is this good spiritual practice, but it certainly can't hurt your health :)Moving on...To say I highly recommend this book is an understatement, the week and a half that I've had it and prayed with it daily have felt lighter in and of itself -- but I wasn't really planning on writing a review until blessings practically smacked me in the face yesterday. It's been a dry spell for my freelance illustration work and I've been struggling with my physical health due to not having the finances to cover my medicine. I turned to this book for help - following Riva's Psalm recommendations I prayed fervently, and I kid you not, two days later I received two large illustration commissions that have put me back in a comfortable position, especially since I can afford medication again. Blessed in so many ways in such a short time!If there's anything I could gripe about it's that the formatting might take a moment to get used to (see the image where I've boxed in which is which), but it's tolerable in the face of how this book can help you.Both the contents and index contain Psalm guides based on your need, and each Psalm has a small amount of commentary beneath from Riva explaining how you can best use it. This is immensely helpful if you're scatterbrained like me and draw blanks on how or what to pray based on your situation. The conclusion contains prayers and segments of prose/poetry that are especially meaningful and inspiring.Regardless of practice, belief, or even level of religious zeal, this book's a must-have, 100%.

Even though it is evident that this book has more of an esoteric approach to the Psalms (which is why I purchased it), it is a resource that can be used by anyone who knows their power. The Psalms are for all intents and purposes as collection of poems, songs, and prayers, which work well as spells. Much of what would require otherwise complex spells/rituals/procedures can be remedied by reading and excerpt from this collection. The problem is having immediate access to them when you need them; that's where this book comes in. It is highly portable, and provides an index where you can choose which Psalms you will read/recite based on your need(s). The author categorizes them in a way that makes it easy to go straight to what you need.Alternatively, you can use this book as a form of divination. Closing your eyes and flipping the pages back and forth until you "feel" the page you need to stop on. Then run your fingers across the page until you feel the next stopping point. When you open your eyes, that's what you should read/recite/meditate on. It's use is not lost on those who don't have an esoteric/occult background, this bookcan be used by ANYONE who needs a bit of guidance and/or assistance.

I absolutely love this! The Psalms as they should be used and as close as one can get to the traditional usage, and very wonderful psalter to have in hand. Because I use them daily, I un-binded my book and put it in page protectors and 7 ring pocketbook so it lays flat and can be used during daily practice, but always have extra ones handy. Highly recommend!
