Family Handyman Make It Last: 750 Tips to Get the Most Out of Everything in Your House

I bought one for myself and just starting going through it fixing things in the house. Simple explanations and common problems like a loose shower handle. My dog sitter saw my book and loved it so I bought a second one for her!

I am a contractor (35 years) and found useful information in here.

Sadly, title is misleading. This is more of a how to repair book NOT how to make things last. Make Things Last to me meant reduce, reuse, recycle, repurpose. This is not what this book is but it is useful and I shall keep it. Does tell you how to do a number of things from recaulking a tub or shower, instant fixes for roof leaks and more. Highly recommend for every homeowner.

Not very clear

Does a good job organizing different areas of the home to do basic maintenance.

I got this for a family member who calls for help and I don't always have the answers, there is so much helpful info I told her she could send one to me the next holiday.

Típico libro que me ha sorprendido... y para bien. Lo compré por el precio y porque me gusta todo para la casa (un piso no es lo mismo que una casa). Y realmente tiene muy buenos consejos que no sabía y he aplicado (y previamente he trabajado en la construcción en 2 países distintos)
