Middle school theater!
This was a perfect companion for my middle schooler who was doing the Midsummer play. When reading, learning, performing Shakespeare it’s so very helpful to have a modern English companion to aid in comprehension.

This is a Lifesaver and Must Have for Shakespeare Plays!
Very easy book that makes it even easier to follow the story by having the original text of the play on the left side of the book and the modern translation on the right side of the book--they're side by side.. This makes for a very easy way to read the play and to reference Shakespeare's original language and meaning, because often you will need to reference this, particularly if you are a theatre student.Overall a very cute play in traditional Shakespearean style. I highly recommend the "No Fear Shakespeare" series to anyone looking to read Shakespeare plays in an easy-to-follow and easy-to-read format.

Perfect amount of help!
Brilliant idea! Better than Cliff Notes! This translates Shakespeare into modern English with the original language on opposite side for comparison. It doesn’t give the easy out with themes, symbolism, etc explained in tedious detail so that students all have the exact same responses to supposedly thought provoking questions. This is just enough help!

Easy to understand
This series of books is wonderful bc it has left page of old English and right page a modern translation. Not enough choice of Shakespeare works.

A Midsummer Night's Dream (No Fear Shakespeare)
I love to use No Fear Shakespeare for all my Shakespeare classes. On the left page is a Middle English version of the play, and on the right page is a modern adaptation. The students can understand the story, and we have a great time reading the plays aloud in class. The only downside to this book is the glue in the binding is poor quality. After one time through the book, the pages started to come out. What a shame. Personally, I spent the extra money to take my No Fear Shakespeare A Midsummer Night's Dream to Office Max, had the binding cut off, and had a spiral binding put it. But that is an expensive option.

Midsummer indeed
If you are a Shakespeare Fan, I definitely recommend you get this story, not only is this plus Macbeth my favorite Shakespeare stories and I find Midsummer Nights Dream hilarious but the "No Fear Shakespeare" book editions are really good cause it helps you understand what you are reading when you read the Shakespeare stories. So Recommend this for beginners just starting to read his stories.
