Excellent quality! Very solid!

Good budget shaft for the money, but it's not high quality.
The machine work on this shaft could ve better, but it is adequate. My biggest issue is that the key way groove is ever so slightly undersized, and getting a 1/4" Key into it requires sanding and/or force. That's kinda not cool. Also, the outer diameter is ever so slightly smaller than 1", which means parts designed for 1" are just a tad looser than you want them to be.

Top notch quality.
Excellent machine work on this axle, step down, threads and keyways. Gorgeous finish on the shaft makes the rear axle something you want to show off rather than hide from view. More brute strength than I'll ever be able to throw at it with my electric powered kart. Oh, and don't be confused by the product photos which might lead you to think only one end of the shaft has a keyway. Both ends of the shaft have a keyway, they are just offset by 180 degrees and each keyway goes slightly beyond the half way point of the shaft.
