Not very good
Ground wire poorly soldered and the gaps at the sides aren’t big enough to get decent-sized ring connectors/cables through without having them at awkward angles. It worked once when I first installed it but it hasn’t worked since. Both of my batteries are in good condition, alternator is kicking out plenty of juice but the relay just won’t close, even at 13.8/14 volts or more. Not happy and will be replacing it with a better unit asap.

Works as it should. Quite simply really!

Charge voltage can be either direction
This device senses charging voltage from both direction so if you are charging on one side, once the voltage reached 13.3 the relay closes and both batteries receive the charge. It also works the same in the other direction. When voltage drops to 13.0 the relay opens and prevents discharge between the batteries. Works well.
