Brookstone INeed Shiatsu Seat Topper with Heat

I brought this product to try and help with the constant knots in my back extended from headaches and migraines. Well, I like a deep tissue massage but this thing actually hurt and made the pain worse! My boyfriend also tried it for he's lower back and he thought the same, he said his sides continued to hurt for a week or so afterwards. Also, I don't recommend it if you are really tall, I am 5ft 8" and it did not reach the top of my shoulders like I would have hoped. Warning: I lost a lot of money returning, I did not realize there was a 25% restocking fee and then the cost to mail it back! I should have gone directly into Brookstones and tried it plus returning it wouldn't have cost me anything, lesson learned for try to save a few dollars!!

I should have saved the money and gone to get a few massages at my local massage place.I have the uSqueez® foot massager and I thought I would love this too. Chalk this purchase up to stupidity and multiply it by 100 b/c I threw the box away before I realized how much I hated it.I am 5'2" and 105lbs. The little nubs are actually pretty painful and hit all the wrong places. I like to get a substantial massage from a massage therapist - nothing too deep but also not too light either. I am totally bummed about how much I dislike this massager. In fact, I used it twice (the 2nd time just to make sure) and now it's sitting in the corner of my room.Don't waste your money.

We may be giving it too much love, but we're getting a bit bruised using the unit. We may be leaning in to it too much so that when the rolling balls find a knot of muscle the pressure is a bit much. That aside, it's rather pleasurable but not a substitute for a skilled set of hands.

After use less than two years, the fabric covered the rolling balls were broken badly and the rolling chewed in the fabric! Too bad! Or otherwise it was a good massage in term of how much I paid!

Love the product because it lets me have a quick massage whenever I want. Of course its not like going to a massage therapist, but let's face it, we all know that a seat topper has its limits! However, I would recommend this product. Only thing is for us taller folks (I'm 5'11"), you have to slouch and think of creative positions for the massage rollers to reach your shoulders.

I got this for my wife for christmas. It works pretty well, but don't expect it to get your shoulders. It would be better if it went a few inches higher. It's a really powerful massager, and has actually left me a bit sore if I sit on it for too long. Minus one star because it has started squeaking when first started.

It works. a little too loud and a little to hard on my back. But it works.I might not think about using it often, but still want to keep it around.

Replaced my old one with this one. Old one just stopped working, had for about ten years. Everything works great except when you turn it off the rollers proceed up, not real comfortable when leaning back in chair so I unplug it when the rollers are at the bottom of the run.
