SInce you Selected the 110AC version the wires to power it come in from the top as shown in provided pictures by the vendor. The valve Switches Air not electricity

Can this be used to switch vacuum rather than pressure?

Constant vacuum? I would suspect there is a moment of open circuit. This is not a Science device. For the price it is worth the attempt I would think - Knowledge sometimes cost a little. Vacuum ~11"? evaporates water (it is what Hg we set to clear AC systems). Its kind of like using airplane and rocket technology to go deep under water. Certainly worth the testing, JMO
