Turn key for 2011 BMW R1200GS
This was a perfect fit for a 2011 BMW R1200GS where the instrument cluster attaches to the headlamp.Pros: Looks better in person that in the pictures online. I was afraid it would look too small on the bike due to the smaller lights but the black plastic casing looks more prominent in person. The installation is turn key as advertised.Cons: I wish the designers moved the "C" daytime running light to the smaller side like it is on the newer model R1200's.

Light Works great BUT...
The media could not be loaded. I have a 2012 1200 GS and the light was easy to install even though it does not come with directions. Not too hard to figure out. You do need to use two of the three rubber mounting points from the old light. The new light does not have a way to adjust the light beam and does not use the bottom rubber mount so it swivels and bounces up and down as you ride. There is no way to tighten the side bolts enough to hold the light steady. I ended up wedging a piece of foam under the light and then zip tying the light on top to the cross bar. This holds the light steady and give you a way to adjust the beam. The tighter the zip tie, the lower the beam..

2012 R1200GSA Headlight assembly
When the package arrived, I initially opened it and saw that the headlight assembly was in excellent condition. It appeared that the quality was very good. Hardware included was satisfactory, However I wish It came with connector for the DLR lights. I definitely recommend this product for a replacement headlight assembly.

Lens is scratched, loose fitting and crooked
The media could not be loaded. Description said it was used but I’m “as new condition”, opened the box and the lens was scratched.I was going to keep it trying not to mind the scratch and realized even after tightening the side bolts it is completely loose and bounces up and down, the housing lacks the bottom hole where the oem grommet goes this making it bounce.Other companies do have that grommet fixture and I will be sending this back and get the other one.One thing I like is the fact that the design looks like the new model and the other LED I’m talking about has the retro look like the original one on this bike model (air cooled)

This item has not compatibility wit the yellow
Not compatibility with the yellow headlight protector, different side of the daylight beams.

I bought two. One seemed good, the other leaked moisture from day one.
I bought two. One seemed good, the other leaked moisture from day one. It has also now burned the cheap 194 connection to the halo light. Black plastic melted out of the connection and got on the front of my bike.
