Nike Men's Metcon 8 Sneakers

Good general purpose lifting shoe. The non compressible heel and wider than normal for Nike shoes provides a stable platform for barbell exercises. I sized up a full size for a perfect fit.

I feet are on the wide side. This particular model FD5431 is working out for me. I had went to a Nike outlet store in White Marsh. They had a FD5431 with royal blue rubber. I got that one. The low heel to toe drop is a good feature. Other models of Nike Metcon 9 may not fit a wide footer. So if your are regular width this is still a good choice for anyone.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Stable with a firm sole, ideal for rubber-floored gym.

The media could not be loaded. Great for Cross Fit and Stable Movements like Squats, Deadlifts, Thrusters, Cleans and a host or power movements.Real firm and stable heel but not recommended by me for runs as mid sole to toe box is also considerably firm.Good investment if you have the money to buy more than one shoe for varied functional fitness activities and especially if you engage in Crossfit

Not for any sort of cardio. Heel support is very stiff but thats a huge advantage for heavy lifting. Use it everyday for workout and loving it so far. (6 months review)

This shoe is likely an imitation/fake. The soft label in the shoe has a UPC code that does not match the UPC code of the box. The box was also damaged and you can see that the original sticker on the box was for a different shoe. They shoot itself looks relatively well-made, I compared it to a shoe I bought at a national chain store. But, if it’s fake, it’s hard to tell how long it’ll last. The size 11 runs on the smaller side. I would likely need an 11 1/2 when I usually wear 11s.
