Atlas Obscura Wall Calendar 2019

While it’s an ok calendar, I won’t ever buy a calendar I can’t phusically flip through again.Sure it’s pretty pictures but the main use of a calendar is to read dates and make notes.The design choices made make it almost impossible to actually write on most of the months.In a lot of them you can’t read what the dates or holidays actually are.And to be frank, even the images are a bit meh.Overall it’s ok- but practically unusable for fulfilling its actual function of dat planning and readability.

I’m a big fan of Atlas Obscura and was excited to see this calendar. The artwork is bold and beautiful and it looks great on the wall. However I can’t use it as my main calendar because the number/day grid on many of the spreads is dark, so you can’t use it to keep track of appointments, etc. so if you’re purchasing this as a decorative calendar and like big, bold colors and interesting facts, you’ll love it. But if you’re looking for a daily calendar you can use to track events and activities, you should look for another option.

Here we are, the second day of February, I guess I didn't pay that much attention when I flipped to Feb yesterday, the image was something about a lightening storm. But guess what, the page is black with red? lines and numbers and other info. In the bright light of day it's okay, in the evening, I need a 1000 watt spotlight shining on it to make it useable. #DesignFail

I work for an airline and I have this hanging in my cubical. We all have a bit of wanderlust and adding destinations to our "want to go" lists one month at a time is very fun. I already have the 2020 calandar in my cart.

My favorite calendar ever. The artwork is fantastic and my whole family loves reading the tidbit every month. Worth every penny. I'm pretty much obsessed with Atlas Obscura!! If you don't know about them then check them out. They rock.

Very much in the style of the 2018 calendar but the art just pops in 2019 to a whole new level. Props to all involved in its conception and creation!

Calendar art interesting if you like digital art style - calendar itself is almost invisible on some pages. If you like to make notes on your calendar this is not for you.I still love you Atlas Obscura - even if you got this one wrong.

Exactly the product in the photos. Its great. The only downfall is that the dark calendar blocks on a few of the pages make it difficult to print on and see if you don't have a white pen/marker.

Es un calendario de pared, del mismo tamaño que todos, pero con diseños muy coloridos y cada mes cuenta algo diferente súper interesante. Tomar en cuenta que está en idioma inglés. Volvería a comprarlo, 100% recomendado.
