Is this PVC and phthalate free?

As in the pipe "PVC"? And that other word, it's a chemical right? I have no idea. We didn't really read the package because my daughter just really wanted to play with it. I just know my daughter likes it. She plays with it for a good 15-20 minutes while we drive around town. We keep in the car mostly. Sorry I couldn't answer your question. Should be pretty safe though... I mean I ate Mexican candy growing up and apparently that has lead in it... and I turned up fine.... I guess.

I think they do. I like this toy. Simple but different then others I have come across. My kid loves messing with tv remote so we try to use this as a distraction. The screen will light up shapes for a few games upon pushing the purple buttons In center of controller. Cute concept.
