This is a beautiful and well made 8 quart stockpot by Carote. It's made with tri-ply stainless steel. The handles look like brass or copper and has double rivets. It feels very sturdy and does have some weight to it. The lid is a little over 1.5 lbs and the pot is 3.9 lbs. I especially like that the inside of the pot provides both leader and quart markings for easy measurements. I am very happy with this purchase. P.S. Don't forget to heat the pot before adding food items to prevent food from sticking

I first bought the Carote frying pan, then the saute pan, and then I bought this stock pot. I'm thrilled with all 3 pieces. This pot is the perfect size for soups and stews, and the lid fits and has a vent hole. I love the weight and the handles. They aren't wooden; they're Bakelite. They look like wood, though. I love how easy it is to clean the Carote pieces. I always wash them by hand and dry them right away, as per the instructions included. I never put them in the dishwasher. These are truly non-stick and they are holding up well. I'm thinking about getting some sauce pans, but my stainless steel ones are still in great shape after 30 years and I CAN put them in the dishwasher.

Cooking in this pot is the best. I like the quality of this product, especially the color. It's very affordable and easy to clean.

First off, this is stainless steel - you'd expect food would stick to it (pastas and such) but I haven't found any stickiness. This works perfectly for my cooking, It's silver in color, with plastic "wood-esque" handles and on the lid. These do not appear to get hot, so I don't need pot holders or anything to move it or take the lid off. One really nice feature is on the inside, there's measurement lines so it takes some guess-work out of filling it. I'm very happy with this pot - it replaced a non-stick coated aluminum one.

we stumbled on this brand when looking for a true nonstick skillet. After purchasing a small skillet to try it out, we have switched to 100% Carote cookware. It's incredible and I'm honestly annoyed that I didn't find it earlier than age 35 😆 they are well made with a nice weighted bottom, heat well and evenly, clean like a damn dream, and for some reason I will never know are ACTUALLY AFFORDABLE. Just purchased this pot (my 5th after 2 skillets, a pasta pot and a small 1.5qt sauce pot) and it's just as amazing as the rest. This will be a nice addition for size and is pretty enough to serve things like soups or stews when I can eventually have people over again (thanks Coronavirus 🙄). The best part was that it was ON SALE (again, why the heck are these so cheap?!?) for $15 so I didn't even care that I don't need it right away. 100% recommend this brand and I will buy every single pot, pan and kettle they sell.

This kettle is phenomenal!! The craftsmanship is unbelievable for the price. I will use this over and over again. It will probably last a life time. I highly recommend!!

I wanted to purchase a non stick 6 quart pot with a lid, but not a non stick that would eventually get scratched off or peel off in time. I needed a pot that wasn’t heavy like a ceramic Dutch oven as I have neuropathy in both hands and other hand issues that cause me to drop objects. I read so many reviews here on Amazon, but finally settled on this one. When I opened the box, I was concerned mine might have arrived damaged in some way, but thankfully mine arrived damaged free! I immediately washed mine in warm soapy water and needed to use it to make spaghetti sauce. The heat distribution is good, and on my stovetop, this pot heated up quicker than my other 4 quart purchased from WalMart. The clean up was a BREEZE- so happy!!! I am hand washing both pieces as recommended. I recently made queso dip in it, and will most definitely use this pot again to make queso dip or any other recipe that would most definitely be a messy clean up!! Nothing stuck, and all leftovers poured out easily into a container. I was so impressed and happy!!! Well done CAROTE!

Good quality happy with purchase used for general cooking

We bought this primarily to cook rice on our induction stove. We found that rice tends to stick/burn on the bottom of our stainless steel pots. When received we noticed that the glass lid has the small steam release hole (which is not clear from the product pictures). The steam hole does not affect the quality of the cooked rice (no extra water required). No issues at all using this pot with our induction stove. Rice does not stick to the bottom. Cook time is the same as our stainless steel pots. Recommended.

This dish is actually lighter than I expected but that works in its favour as it have heavier cast iron casserole from Carote and use that when I need to place in the oven. This stays on my stove top for soups, stews and making my pizza sauce

By far the best pan cooking set I have have ever owned and I've had many in my lifetime, I will never own another set other than this brand and product. value for money, sturdy, cleans effortlessly looks sharp, no rusty screws or food getting stuck in the hardware, carbon steel iron so it doesn't chip or peel away after time ,its all concealed in the sleek wood like handle. That s made of a material I don't know, its like a very hard compressed plastic material, but it but it washes nice feels comfortable to hold, from someone who loves to cook, Im very happy

I am glad I made the purchase. The pot is easy to clean and maintain. Most importantly, it is very light and heat up quickly.
