Flowmaster 2000130 Catalytic Converter Univ 200 Srs. Metal H.F. 3.00"

This is the best catalytic converter I have used yet (I go through a lot of Magnaflow converters). It looks nice, it is easy to install, the price is good, and it flows very well. It also doesn't change the sound much, although it is quieter. I have a 3" single exhaust with a Flowmaster muffler at the end. With the clogged Magnaflow (my car runs a little rich), the car was far from passing emissions. With the Flowmaster, it passes by far.No regrets at all.I do with Flowmaster would no manufacture items in China. Otherwise, Flowmaster is a favorite.

Havent installed it yet but it seems well constructed. Selected this version with metal core instead of the ceramic due to people complaining that the ceramic units rattle with time. Just hope it will take away the excess gas smell my car emanates with catless long tubes 2015 Mustang. Will try to pass smog, but think is al long shot. Took pics of the inside core as there were none around to cross shop. Ill be happy if it kills the exhaust musk my car emanates.**Update** It has been a month since installed. So far no rattles and no bad smell from exhaust. Sound wise it lowered noise about 2db. Still sounds nice.

Decent quality flows great

First I was skeptical looking for a good 200cell high flow cat for my Audi A3 8V and it’s perfect silent when I want it and loud when I wanna hear it better than catless and feel no difference in power so overall great investment

I'm a big fan of Flowmaster products. However, these cats are not the greatest. They work excellent as long as you're just cruising around. I got on a empty stretch of road and floored it for a few seconds. Immediately after that, it smelled like the cats were bad for the next 20 minutes and my check engine light came on. The code for the check engine light was for the cats.

My build has an LS3, headers, catless y-pipe, and stinks (in a good way). Since i daily drive it, it was a little tough to live with since i smelled like a biker when i got to work. So i bought this low cost 200cell universal from flowmaster and it took just enough of the smell away that i don't reek when i get to the office. i also passed inspection with this in a state where they do a visual. 2 thumbs up!

Just had it installed on my 2003 dodge ram 1500 with a 5.9 liter and the sound is amazing when u match it with a flowmaster super 40

It was great

Took away my raw fuel smell. Quieted the truck down a bit . Win win.
