Eddingtons Roundel Timer with Neck Cord and Magnet

Very useful
Very useful kitchen gadget. I make a lot of my own bread and often used to put bread in the oven then go off and do something else completely forgetting it. Now I set this timer going, put it round my neck, then I can go do something else. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not ideal as the ticking of the timer is a bit of a pain but I don’t overcook the bread anymore.

Convenient
Convenient timer to carry around. For short times turn dial to 50-60 minutes then back to whatever time required so the ring is reasonably long.

Heaven Sent Item for An ADHD Sufferer....
Just what I needed. As someone with ADHD and currently coping with an appalling level of stress, I needed something to help me break the day/tasks down into 10-20 minute segments. Wearing this around me neck helps me do that. Nothing seems impossible and I can give myself small goals to get through my paper mountain, and to be able to pack my flat up to move. Not a conventional use, I know, but it WORKS.

Good value
The lanyard makes this useful for me as I can forget tea is brewing and end up making it 3 times. The timer stays with me while I do other things that often cause me to forget the tea. It does need to be over wound and then wound back for shorter durations

Good timer but bulky.
Larger than expected. Approx 2inches across and one deep. The tick is loud and the ring is not so loud. So if you are going into the next room take it with you but don't expect to concentrate on anything. I was looking for a small mechanical timer to rapidly switch between approximate timings while cooking ( hence not wanting an electronic). This works but is a bit bulky.

So handy
I had looked for a timer to wear around my neck for a long time so that I can leave the kitchen to do other jobs. This one did not work when it arrived but with a little adjustment it clicked in.

That it is as good as the one I had 20 years ago.
I liked everything. The sound level is not as loud as my first one 20 years ago (which still works but no sound at all) but I am now in my eighties and probably going deaf.

Too late to return defective item
Item bought and worked fine for a short while then just stopped. However, I wanted to return but item had to be returned by today (17th July) so I've missed out.Pity, as I thought it was pretty good to start. Oh well!
