48 Volt Golf Cart Battery Charger for Yamaha Drive

I'm impressed works just as well if not better than my old one that cost $375. Half the size and weight. Will have to wait and see how long it holds up being a block off the beach but I'm stoked for now.

I bought this for my 2012 Yamaha YDRE-X3 and it does "work" including the 2-port connector plugs into the 3-port golf cart receptor. However, it did not shut off when the batteries were charged. The manual states that it could cause damage to the batteries if the LED2 light never turns green meaning it will continue charging. The charger that came with the cart was 13-17 amps. This is 6 amps, so it will charge your batteries slower which will generate less heat, which is a good thing, but it will take longer to charge.So, if you want to use this on a YDRE you'll have to remember to unplug it yourself after 8 or 10 hours.

Purchased June 7th, today is July 26th and the charger is already not working and too late to return! Waste of money
