Impact Collapsible, Durable Aluminum Dog Crate (Large (35" L x 25" W x 29" H))

This is just what we needed for our dog to be able to fly with us. An IATA 82 crate. As much as I feel like it makes my dog look Scary, she is able to fly with us and that is all that matters. It came in excellent condition and even earlier then expected which was great so we have time to get her use to this new crate! The size was perfect, we ordered a large for my 56 lb American pocket bully. My family is making a move and we have no idea what airline we will be flying or when exactly I noticed that we would need this special crate for certain airlines and I figured it would be best to get one just in case since it does take a little bit of time to process the order and receive. The window I received was pretty close to when we are suppose to leave, I contacted the seller to see when it would ship just in case I needed to cancel and they gave me an earliest possible date it would ship. They were awesome and prompt at responding to me! When it didn't ship by that earliest date I gave them a few more days, but I was impatient and wanted to make sure there was nothing wrong with the order or a backorder or anything like that. I gave them a call and the representative was so awesome and kind and understood completely about my concerns. She found out the status to make sure everything was good and let me know it was shipping either that day or the next but to go with the next day to be safe. It actually shipped out that night and arrived a few days later, even earlier then my expected delivery dates. The product is a bit expensive but it came in excellent condition and it is exactly what we needed to be able take her with us. It collapses nice and small for easy storing so much better then the wood ones I saw that I would have to figure out what to do with when we aren't using it. Definitely recommend! This product is expensive, but so worth the price.Quick background story. My dog Nikki has been in our family for about 5 years. She has high anxiety when we are gone. Shas dug through a plastic crate down to the floor boards. She has broken out of 3 wire kennels, and even a 5x10 foot heavy duty wire kennel. We were always scared to leave her at home because we knew she would break out and possibly do damage to our home even for short periods of time. We have probably spent about $900+ on kennels and other products and probably $500+ in damage to doors, carpets, etc repairs.We were very hesitant to make such a purchase, but it has been the best (XL collapsable impact crate) purchase we have ever spent. Nikki has not gotten out and there has been no damage to the crate either. We did purchase the high anxiety door cover for $50 extra to prevent damage to our dogs teeth. We feel so much better when we leave the house and Nikki also seems to enjoy the crate itself.Again if you have gone through multiple kennels/crates and are stressed out about leaving your dog at home, this is the kennel for you. It’s worth every penny!!

The picture I included was of a standard wire crate and what my 85lb GSD can do it in in an hour. We bought the 450 model crate and while the 800 dollars was a tough pill to swallow it does work. He is actually calm inside of it since he’s learned he cannot get out and he is safe while we are gone which was my primary concern.This crate does fold down easily if you need to travel with it. The only thing that is a downside is the price, but if your dog will snap the wires on a conventional crate and hurt himself this is worth it. If you can afford this, you shouldn’t be disappointed in its performance.

I’m a prime customer and have had mostly satisfactory products through amazon. The small number of times a product didn’t work out, I was alsways satisfied in the handling.This is my FIRST complaint ever about an Amazon Seller. STAY AWAY. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM. ESPECIALLY DO NOT ORDER THIS COLLAPSABLE KENNEL. Because that is exactly what it does.It is difficult to assemble and dangerous to you and your pet. When trying to assemble, it collapsed and pinned one of my fingers in one of the hinges. It was difficult to lift the kennel to an open position for me to extract my finger. If the kennel would have collapse completely, more than the cut and blood drawn from my finger would have been the case. Probably a lost a digit, or a paw.Two strong, able bodied people are required to set up this portable kennel. The latches are difficult to place into proper position.I tried to install the side bars which are required to prevent the kennel from collapsing. No matter which way I oriented the side arms, the latches would not engage into Position. The side arms are crucial element to the design of this kennel. If the side arms do not engage, it will not stay in position. Bottom line, if it won’t assemble, it can’t be used.Do to the design flaw and safety concerns, I requested a return. I took exceptional care placing the kennel into the original packaging. We used a dolly to carry it to the car and to the shipping company. It is heavy. I paid over $200 to have the product shipped back.Today this seller sends an email stating that due to its used condition, they will only issue a partial credit, 50%.This product was in my possession for less than 24 hours. It was out of the box for less than an hour and if was never assembled, it could never have been used.

Finally! A crate that can hold my dog safely! Great product! Pricey, but great product.

The self closing door system is ideal for my working dog.
