KUM AZ105.72.19-M - Longcone Sharpener "Meisterwerk", Neoprene Bag, 2 Replacement Blades, 1 Piece

I have the Kum 2 step (plastic version of this) and it is great sharpener except that even changing the blades, after a while the screw became loose inside the plastic so the blades weren't tight enough. I have other pencil sharpeners but none of them managed to give such a fine long point on my coloured pencils, which is essential when doing realism, hair and fine details. Great sharpener but lets see how much it can take!

I bought this on recommendation from a friend. It produces a very sharp point on the pencil but I find it eats away at your pencil very quickly. I find I don't use it regularly, only when I need a very sharp point.

Bought it because I've had one before and it lasted years. Never again.I've used it about four times and pencil leads are already snapping in the second hole. So I tried to change the blade just in case its a duff. They don't come off. I've tried and someone much stronger than me has tried. WD-40 did nothing except rub off the writing. The head of the screw is damaged from our attempts to get it to move.In comparison to the original sharpener, the metal of the sharpener body appears to be a great deal softer. The new sharpener is scratched to death from my attempts to get the blades off. The old one is in better condition after nearly four years of constant use and frequent travel.

The best longpoint hand held sharpener there is in my opinion. Expensive for a pencil sharpener of this type? You get what you pay for here. This is my second, so I have one for home use, and one the wife pinched from me. I highly recommend this item, and this is something I rarely do.

I had this sharpener a few days before I saw it has spare blades packed inside. It's by far the best sharpener I own.

Blade worn out after several days. The plastic container had several cracks. Not worth the price.
