Cheap insurance ... durable too!
I purchased these many years ago to secure my car cover with bungee cords. There are high winds at times, and the car cover, even if it's a fitted model like mine, can blow off. The security cable, at the center of the car cover, doesn't keep the cover from blowing off. The cover is still there, but it's on the ground.I use four of these ... two at the front and two at the rear and that works great. This latest order is to replace the old units (more than 10yrs old) as they do get brittle with age.

These are awesome
Love these things. I had a tarp that the grommet ripped out of the corner and instead of replacing the tarp I bought these and they work great. A little bit of a pain to get on, but they seem stronger than the original grommet(s)! I did tighten the tarp down enough that the piece pulled off the rubber circle, but I also think if I'd tightened it this tight with the original grommet it would have ripped off the tarp. Anyway, these are worth it, requires some strength to get onto the tarp, might have some issues getting them on to really heavy tarp.

Works great - with a few limitations
These snaps are so useful for putting a tarp over a boat. You can get the bungee as tight as you want it and don't have to worry about the tarp grommets ripping out. There are two weaknesses for me. The lower hook bends under strong pressure, to the point of releasing the bungee. The answer is to use the hole above the hook as shown in the picture. Also, in cold weather, it is difficult to place the snap on the tarp since the plastic gets stiff in the cold. When I tried heating it with a hair dryer, I went a bit overboard and the plastic stretched to much and ruined the snap.

These are awesome!
I used these to secure a car cover for heavy wind in Reno. Easy to install and secure.

Best Tarp snaps ever !
These are definitely the best way to attach anything to a tarp. Much better than the built in grommets that come with the tarp and also much better than the jaws type tarp clasps which can pull off. There’s just no way these can come off. I use them for everything. Great for a boat cover as you can put some serious tension on the cover without worrying about pulling the grommets out. They can be challenging to install on thicker tarps but once you get them on they are there to stay.UPDATEI see some negative views mostly from popping off. It may not be obvious but the snaps need to be installed on the tarp so the cord is pulling in a straight line with the snap tab where it is attached. If the cord is pulling on a angle it will attempt to rotate the ring around the disk to bring it straight. That rotation will pop off the ring. I just pull the cord to the point I want to attach the snap and make note of the angle and install the snap so the tab is in alignment with the cord. Will never pop off !

100% worth every penny!
These tarp ties are 100% Time and money savers! We use them on the heavy duty tarps that cover our horse haystacks. Just make a loop with your hay rope tied to a wooden flat that your hay sits on, pull that loop through the hole of your Super Snap, loop onto the hook and.....SECURED! Not once has it torn off the tarp, or broken due to pressure. Been using these for 7 + years. Couldn't find them all of a sudden in stores, checked on here and I was once again a happy horse owner who could cover her hay securely with assurance! Only suggestion to buyers is that if you plan on using them in cold weather I would put them in your pocket to warm them up prior to attaching them to the tarp as they are quite a bit harder to use when your already cold hands have a hard time bending these over the centerpiece.

Sturdy Clip Units for Light Tarps and Cloth
Perfect for lightweight tarps or cloth. You need a little flex room to be able to maneuver the pieces to lock together. The yellow plastic is very heavy and not easy to slide together with the tarp in place. It's a little easier to slide one side in place and then the other. The choice of hook or hold for strapping pieces is good. We used it for sun shade cloth and that is a little heavier than a light tarp.
