I have always wanted a silk pillowcase after reading the many benefits of silk for sleep creases/wrinkles, hair styles etc. After doing thorough research I decided I would only buy 25momme silk and I wasn't prepared to pay more than $40 (I have seen some silk pillowcases on beauty sites for up to $80!). I also decide to buy two, for when one's in the wash. So I decided to buy two different brands as a comparison of quality and to help me make future purchases eg I'd like to buy them as presents for my mum, sister, aunt, friends, husband etc.This Celestial Silk pillowcase is everything I hoped for. It is VERY soft and very silky with a satiny finish. It's well made with a hidden zipper. It's an absolute pleasure to lay my head down on the pillow at night (and not just because I'm a mama to young children!).The other brand I bought, for the same price, was Fishers Finery. I'm also very happy with that purchase. The silk in that pillowcase is slightly thicker, however not as satiny. I will use both but intend to use that one as my travel pillowcase (I'm never sleeping on cotton again) as it feels like a more durable fabric. However, having only washed them each twice and slept on them each for about a week, I still can't speak to long term durability. I am interested to see which one lasts longer.I think the price is really good value! I pay more for a jar of face cream - which doesn't last as long. I have definitely noticed I wake up with less wrinkles/sleep creases. As another reviewer said, my face cream stays on and doesn't get soaked up as it would with a cotton pillowcase. I have very fine hair (which gets very oily and needs to be washed daily) so for me the hairstyle part doesn't really matter. However, I have noticed that my hair does look slightly better in the morning and is also less oily. So for someone who doesn't wash their hair every day, I think silk pillowcases are definitely helpful.And even if none of the above were true - it just FEELS so much nicer to sleep on a silk pillowcase. I think I am sleeping more deeply , just because of the luxury of sleeping on silk. It's like sleeping on a cloud of softness and your face doesn't "stick" to the pillow. I'm very happy that such a small investment has given me this much pleasure :)

I just got this and it has not been washed yet but so far I really like this pillowcase. This is my first silk pillowcase so I don't have much to compare it to but it is extremely soft. I had searched for awhile, reading reviews and learning about momme measurement and this seemed like the real thing. I saw reviews stating their tag showed other fabric contents but mine was 100% silk. I like the zipper on it, which is small and discreet. I ordered two of this print so it would match my different comforters, coral and Teel. The colors are bright and vibrant and match my tacky style. It feels sturdy but I will update if it falls short. I read other reviews that this does not hold up as well after washing so I am hoping that is not the case, especially since I went ahead and got two. Beautiful packaging.

I am so glad I bought this! I should have bought this years ago!! My hair is pretty long already, but I'm trying to grow it out even longer – and most importantly – healthier! I have very fine hair that gets messy overnight, and the friction of my hair on my cotton pillowcase has caused some damage as well. I was using a sort of cheap sleep cap and that was helping, but my head would get hot and I felt like my hair wasn't able to 'breathe.' Also, my roots have a tendency to be oily while the ends of my strands are sometimes dry.Anywho, after sleeping on this pillow for one night (and without my sleep cap) my hair felt softer and was so much more manageable when I woke up. I'm getting a haircut tonight, so I can only imagine how much healthier my hair will be with a fresh hair cut (i.e., no split, dry ends) and no damage from my old cotton pillowcase!!This pillowcase has far exceeded my expectations already. The material/silk is thick and not 'flimsy' or thin at all. The zipper is very discreet and it fit my pillow very well.The feel of this pillowcase is so luxurious and so soft. I will never go back to a cotton pillowcase (or anything other than silk!) again.Also, the seller seems really great. The pillowcase itself came folded in a sealed plastic wrap (so there was no doubt that it's brand new), and then placed in a nice little box with tissue paper. I really did feel like I was opening a gift to myself. There was also a nice little note card in the box from the seller. I would highly recommend this product and will probably be ordering more for people in my family!
