Affordable Traction
I was over the 1 wheel wonder especially in the middle of a soft field but, didn't quite want to swing 2k for a Truetrac LSD from local shop.. This is a 'lunchbox' locker Take your time and follow your guide. As instructed on the phone, I did NOT use the original thrust washers from the spider gear setup in my application. The locking operation on the road isn't particularly intrusive. You do have to remember when applying throttle especially in wet conditions around corners. I've noticed few times while reversing the locker didn't quite engage and had a metallic ratcheting sound... Still, it hasn't grenades after 1000 miles, mostly highway, some field use and the occasional parking lot fun. 1982 C2500, 6.2 Diesel, and NP833, 75w-110.

Easy to install, works great so far.
Great value for a locker. Install was easy and the package came with everything needed. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS AT LEAST ONCE. On my GM 9.5" rear end, I had to make sure I grabbed the thrust washers from the sides of the housing. They're very thin washers and could be mistaken for shims. They're not, and the locker won't fit with them in.Also, remember to slather the assembly in grease before putting it in. This will help things stick together as you place all the parts in correctly. Otherwsie you'll have to get creative in trying to hold them in place. Good luck!

Worked and fit correctly, for a 9.5 chevy rear diff. The 1950LR will not fit a 9.5 Rear diff.
