Could've been cheaper. A spare Filling mechanism cannot be 15-20% of the cost of the pen.

For the price of the pen a converter should ideally be included but no frills works wonderfully and does its job.

Perfect for avoiding waste of empty Inc cartridges
It works really well to refill your Inc quickly without a mess. If you have a small Inc bottle which isn't completely full anymore it can be difficult to hold the converter into the Inc and turn it for the wished vakuum that sucks in the inc. but the problem is with the Inc bottle not the converter. Very happy with it.

Fits well - and no leaks
The converter fitted the LAMY pen well and no leaks. There is a notch that fits in the barrel position and holds the converter well. Worth the money, if you are a regular user of LAMY ink pen. I use cartridges only during travel and converter while in office.

The technique is better than the old ones but its difficult to learn which side to fill it only request is to turn it slowly
