Its definitely very bright but I hoped it would be brighter. It still gives a vibe that one is saving money over bright tubelights and does not motivate me to study or be productive. I suggest go for two 24W lights and fit them at opposite ends. More focus and directed the better. T shaped bulbs are good for stdfying but this light gets wasted if put on one side of the wall

And then there was light. And how!! There are three separate lights in my kitchen and once this is switched on, the others pale into insignificance. However, the mistress of the kitchen complains that it is just too bright and feels like sunlight!! As if that could ever be a valid complaint.Once you switch it off, you get the feeling that it is utterly dark and this, in my case, with two other lights still working!Of course, the light is a little harsh in some spaces and was meant as a fill light for video shooting. However, in a hall this would be an excellent replacement for other lights. It is worth the money. Much is made of the power saving, but it is something that would not apply here. Why would anyone use a 50W LED unless it is to light a large area or for a specific purpose. It does serve my purpose and I am satisfied with it. However, it might not be as relevant to people who simply want a light bulb in a room. It would be overkill. But for all other demands - large spaces, wide and spacious halls, entry spaces, corridors and foyers, verandahs and porches - nothing better. I promise you that the comparison between brands is moot - this one works better than the rest. I liked the Wipro ones, but cannot rely on their quality or service. As for long-term issues, that remains to be seen. This one is huge, though, keep that in mind. It is not like a CFL or large-sized bulb. It is massive. Be sure to have a fixture or holder that can support this mammoth bulb.
