I AM BACK TO BUY MORE!
Update: We have only one bottle of powder left, so I'm reordering. I still have my grand-dog, Gus, on this supplement, and he is still running and chasing the ball during play time. My son is a firm believer in this product, and so am I. I have my younger female dogs on it as well. It is costly, but when I consider eventual vet bills that might be prevented if dogs have this stuff all their lives, I prefer to keep them healthy now so we can avoid some of the absurdly expensive health issues later in life. I can't seem to leave a vet's office without a three-hundred-dollar bill, and that is for basically nothing. Anything serious can be one or two thousand or much higher. It strikes me as being smarter to try to prevent serious issues for as long as we can, and in the meantime, our three dogs are happy, healthy, and enjoying a good playtime with the ball every day. At mealtime, they don't hesitate to eat, and if we didn't get all the powder mixed in well with their food, they lick the bowls clean, getting every last bit of the supplement. After eating, they circle around to see if another dog left any traces of anything in the bowl, and if one misses some of this supplement powder, they lick it up. So it doesn't taste icky to my dogs. I researched the ingredients and am thinking about finding a human version of this stuff. I think the company has done a stellar job of researching what will actually help our dogs--and I know there are human supplements, made of approximately the same stuff, that reviewers rave about. I'm 76, but who knows? If I get the same nutrients, maybe I'll be more energetic as well and help chase that darned ball! First post: I got this, despite the price, just to see. My son has a seven-year-old Aussie who was no longer wanting to chase the ball, who stood back and just didn't seem to care about playing anymore with our two younger dogs. It was so sad to see! He is still so young. I remembered reading about Critical Immune Defense and seeing good reviews. So, despite the cost, I decided to order some. I gave my grand-dog, Gus, his three scoops (he's a larger dog than my girls, so they only get two) on his food per meal for three days. (I did mention to my son that I was doing so. It is his dog, after all.) So we sailed along for three days, and all of a sudden, my grand-dog, Gus, began bursting forward to chase the ball and play. He was like a puppy again, all excited and racing around. It made my heart swell, because I was thinking, "That Stuff is actually Working!" My son said nothing. So, I thought, okay, fine. I can do without spending all that money on snake poison, even though I believed I was seeing a huge change in my grand-dog, Gus. My thought was, "I saw a placebo effect. I convinced myself, so I believed in the hype." My son didn't mention seeing a difference. So, hello, the stuff is expensive. I decided not to buy anymore. I'm not an idiot. So a few days later, my son calls. (We live on the same property, so our dogs all eat together.) "Mom, are you still giving Gus his supplement?" I thought I had messed up, because I wasn't giving him anything. I was, like, WHAT supplement? My son was, like, that stuff that started making him play like a puppy again! He was very upset that I had stopped giving his dog the CID. He would have been eagerly willing to continue the supplement at his own cost and trouble! The difference in the dog was huge. I popped back, saying that he'd never said a word about how it changed Gus. Why would I continue giving it to him? The stuff is costly! (I hope the company can shave away at their overhead to reduce the cost of product. ) Bottom line, this stuff DOES work! It isn't about buying it and only thinking it works. It truly does, and our Gus is suddenly running and playing like a much younger dog. It has given him a new lease on life. I have decided to also give it to my two younger dogs, hopefully as a preventative supplement. And, hello, I'm researching to find a human-grade supplement with mostly the same ingredients. I could stand a boost energy to make me feel better, too!

Great benefits but the price is extreme.
I am thoroughly impressed! My 17 year old dachshund acts like a pup again. She is living her best life. My 15 year old male Carin terrier who hasn’t been very active in a few years is now re engaging with the group. This stuff is amazing. Problem is I have 7 fur babies total. They are all 14 and up I know they would all benefit from using Critical immune Defense. But the price!. Why does it have to be so expensive???? 😢

Great product! Dog started gaining weight when they were skinny.
Great product! Improve my dog’s health right away. They did not like the taste, but covers up well with Fish type food.

High hopes
I have 6 dogs, not a one of them will eat this when mixed in their food! The ingredients must taste terrible! The smell is bad also. On top of that, the container is about the size of a 12 ounce coke can. I expected a much bigger container. I put it on the cat's food, now I bet they will not eat it either! Waste of $$$$. I so hoped this would help my 15 year old dogs health and tumors but if she will not eat it , it will not help!! REVIEW AMENDED: I am finally getting it down the dog that has tumors by oral syringe. She hates the taste of it but I think it is actually helping her. If it continues to help her even more I will change the review again!!

Lipomas and Supplement Use
On November 30th, CID arrived, and I was eager to write this review with high hopes that the lump on my fur baby's back leg would disappear or shrink. I am giving this powder a 5-star rating at this time for its taste; my dogs love it, they do not get loose stools from it, and the essential vitamins are a bonus. It is now December 22, and I will post a photo of the lump on fur baby's back leg. I am not sure if it is shrinking or not. I do not notice a difference at this time, but I am continuing CID with hopes that it will work. This is the 2nd jar and I will see what happens when the jar is finished. My fur baby has visited the vet, and it was confirmed the lumps are lipomas and due to his age, 8, and his immune system is slowing down. It was advised to keep an eye on the lumps and if they get bothersome, they could remove them. I have found in my experience as a pet owner, the lumps come back or multiply. Only time will tell.

IF YOU VALUE YOUR DOGS LIFE…DO NOT BUY!!
I never write reviews but Milky my Bichon Poodle almost died. After I sprinkled this product on his food, he refused to eat it. I coaxed him into eating, not realizing the danger. The next morning, he usually jumps down from my bed, but this time he was whining and needed help. When I placed him on the floor, he couldn’t walk—he couldn’t even stand on his own. I lifted him up, and he began limping across the floor. From what I could tell, only one leg was really working. Panicked, I began to pray over him olive oil mix with 2 drops of oil of oregano with black seed and gave him plenty of water to flush the product out of his system. I’m currently unemployed and was praying we wouldn’t have to go to the vet. The whole reason I bought this product was to avoid a vet visit as a preventative measure. He’s 15 yrs, but other than some possible dental issues, he’s generally fine. That entire day, he struggled to walk, limping and needing help up and down the stairs. It was a mess. I even called my pastor, who prayed for him over the phone. Then, late in the night, I heard him jump off the bed. Thank God! The next day, he was doing much better and could walk again—still a little unsteady, but by the evening, it was like nothing had happened. He was back to running around as usual. Stay clear of this stuff! I went back and read the one-star reviews, and I saw that two dogs had died after using this product. If I had seen those reviews earlier, I never would have bought it. Of course there’s no refund. If your dog refuses to eat something, trust them. Do not push it. I’m so blessed he made it through.
