It hen I tell you this fits perfectly and looks so beautiful on my stovetop. I am happy I finally decided to purchase it.

It is a beautiful piece, and functional as a decor piece only. However, that is the only good thing to say about it. It's all downhill from there. To begin, it is not real wood. It feels more like soft material inside with a very, very thin piece of hard material as the outside layers; is the best I can describe it. Not sturdy at all. After 24 hours it stopped laying flat also. It absolutely cannot/should not be used as a cutting board as description suggests. Also when wiping it down there is color that keeps coming off of the board every time it's wiped off. So it's definitely not sanitary to be used in contact with food whatsoever. Way overpriced. And the description is deceiving. Definitely would not recommend buying. Unless you only have intentions to use it as a decor piece only. Even then, the price is way too high.

The size and fit are correct for my gas stove. I love the scriptures on it! The font used, the design and the color of the stain with the wood grain all make this item gorgeous. It works perfectly as a buffer in keeping my gas stove clean between usages and as a surface for food prep. I should note that there are a few things that affect my review. The wood manufacturer used is a soft wood and I noticed that after I put the handles on, the side panels slightly warped/curved the sides of the stove cover downward. There are places where the wood has blemishes but to me that helps with the charm. I may put a poly coat on it because of how easily things can mar the wood when bumped. Lastly, “Psalm” is not capitalized on the board like the other books listed from the Bible. These things would probably affect someone needing this board for get-togethers or food displays. Otherwise, it works perfectly, again, for prep and covering my stove. So far overall, this board seems of good quality as I have not had any issues with cracking or breakage.
